Watching Blizzard: Three days to BlizzCon (Patreon)

The week remains quiet as everyone at Blizzard preps for BlizzCon and the hype train hypes along.

Will WoW be getting new races?

• We don't know for sure, but with rumors of new races coming to WoW, Scott takes a look back on the history of WoW's playable races.

Diablo players? Are you out there?

• We may not have anything to look forward to at BlizzCon, but we do have our first look at Season 12 loot.

Are you BlizzCon-bound?

• Be sure to check out our convention survival guide so you can, you know, survive.
• And if you're looking for events beyond the convention floor, check out our guide to BlizzCon's party scene.

Not BlizzCon-bound?

• You can still submit questions for the WoW Q&A panel!

Blizzard Watch at (and not at) BlizzCon

BlizzCon kicks off this Friday, but the pre-game starts Thursday with lining up for tickets and hitting the early parties. You can catch Matticus, Mitch, and Rachelle at Con Before the Storm at 6PM on Thursday at the Hilton.

But if you aren't at the con, no worries, because we'll be hanging out in Discord Thursday through Friday evenings to chat and answer questions. If you haven't already, join us on Discord (and  $25+ patrons can hang out in our BlizzCon newsroom, too). There will also be a bonus BlizzCon podcast on Friday — so there's plenty to look forward to even if you're staying home.

We'll see you (virtually or otherwise) at BlizzCon soon!

• You can tell us the secret word “arthas” to gain access to our patron-only section of Discord.
• $5 and up patrons can read the site ad-free and get full-text RSS. Here’s how.
