Watching Blizzard: We will be tallying style points (Patreon)

Everyone has a favorite transmog, and this is mine. Except that those stylish sunglasses are a temporary buff, as are all stylish sunglasses. Sigh. I will never again be so stylish. But forever will I transmog — forever will we all transmog — to try to become as stylish as we can be.

But enough about that. (Though I am reviewing you all for style and will be docking points for anyone not making an effort with their transmog.) Let’s check out the news of the day. And some non-news, too, just because.

What about Gnomes?

• Yes, Blizzard, what about the Gnomes? Rossi bemoans the state of Gnomes in Azeroth’s story.
• (I swear I did not ask him to write this; he did it all on his own.)

The latest Overwatch PTR brings buffs and nerfs

• It’s all about bringing balance. Ana has gotten some buffs and Brigette has gotten some nerfs.
• And if you haven’t been keeping up this week, the new Rialto map and a Hanzo rework went live yesterday.

We don’t understand this adorable Murloc video

• But it hardly matters, because it’s adorable.

And speaking of Gnomes…

• It’s been a Gnome sort of day, hasn’t it? Rossi wrote up a character profile for Ceteacie, who just so happens to be a Gnome. It’s sweet and sad and wonderful and you should absolutely read it.
• We write these for supporters at the $25 level (though we are admittedly quite a bit behind on getting them written). If you want one of your own, just support us at $25 for one month and put in a profile request. (And for those of you who want a profile but don’t want it published publicly, just say so and it will be something just for you.

Don’t forget!

• For WoW players Children’s Week wraps up on Tuesday, and if you miss out on an adorable pet, you have an entire year to wait before you can give it another try.
• Burning Crusade Timewalking is also this weekend, but if you miss out on that you only need to wait a couple of months for it to come around. Obviously those pets are much more important.
• And Hearthstone players, next week is Noblegarden, which I initially read and was super confused by because didn’t Noblegarden already happen? Because I definitely remember running around in circles collecting eggs. And then running around in more circles. And more circles. But apparently Noblegarden in Hearthstone has its own special schedule. It will have a special brawl and some free egg-tastic cards. Yep. Egg-tastic. It’s a real word. Look it up.
