Watching Blizzard: Launchday bestday (Patreon)

The Battle for Azeroth rollout went incredibly smoothly, and as I type this, most of us are off zooming through the levels. (And after I finish this, I'll join them. Or I'll go find some cookies and then I'll join them. Same thing.)

If you've been too distracted by launch day excitement to keep up with the news, here's everything that happened.

Anduin definitely doesn't have it easy

• In the latest Know Your Lore, Anne talks about his short, but already tumultuous, reign.
• No idea what's happening? Anne also wrote up a guide to the story leading into BFA.

We miss Metzen

• But I'm not sure how much Metzen misses us, considering his recent comments on toxicity in gaming.

I'm not here to explain the memes, just post them

• Alliance or Horde, I'm sure we can unite under the banner of h*ckin' cute dog cosplay.
• I'm not sure whether this qualifies as a meme, but literally everyone has been posting their pre-BFA prep. I wonder what those carefully arranged desk and bags of snacks look like after everyone hit 120?

There's a brand new WoW mobile app

• Get downloading! The mobile app has been updated for Battle for Azeroth.

It's always more fun gaming with a group

• Looking for a guild in Battle for Azeroth? We have some suggestions on how to start.

These are the decks winning the Hearthstone meta (at least so far)

• At HCT Germany this weekend, we got a chance to see how the Boomsday meta looked like in tournament play. If I were to describe it in one word, that word would be "druids." If I were to describe it in three words, it would be "so many druids." So it's a good time to play a druid. Or maybe a druid-killer...

And that's all for today, my friends. Enjoy your gaming and I'll see you after another day of news. (Or a day of dead silence, if everyone is sleeping off their post-leveling all nighter.) Until then, this is Liz, signing out.

P.s., yes, I really do use every possible opportunity to dust off this header image. It is the most joyful selfie I have ever taken.
