SHINee Debut Era

Yeah, as you noticed: Taemin debuted without any lines. He initially was meant to only be a dancer. He didn’t get lines until their first full length album - and if I remember correctly, that was only cause Jonghyun gave him some of his lines. Our baby cheese debuted just after his voice broke and couldn’t take singing lessons because of it. This lead to him also being called tone deaf a lot pre debut. I think that’s why the whole “SM’s ace” thing evokes so much pride in us Shawols. He worked incredibly hard to ever even get to sing at all and look at him now

omg cute hair!! <3

Also choreography + live singing without MR on their DEBUT STAGE lol shinee been doing the most ever since

I mean girl, the horrible lipsyncing in Love Like Oxygen… the boys can barely lipsync NOW, no wonder you think it feels forced, it IS. People on Twitter the other day were like freaking out cause Jinki even sings live in studio choom and a clip of that kinda became viral and us Shawols are just over here like “I mean we wanna hype him up too, but it’s mostly just cause he can’t lipsync” 😅

that paired with that mv that screams pennies for budget lol they literally just used the ring lights for props lol but love like oxygen remains a timeless bop 😂

this was shinee not knowing chaotic energy was an option lol

I haven’t watched the Amigo MV more than like twice cause I don’t like that song, why is Minho chasing that poor woman. Leave her alone Minho, she clearly seems uncomfortable my guy.

Ahhh yay finally checking out the baby shinee era!! Actually I only recently found this out myself but the lyrics for Love Like Oxygen are kind of sad lol? I thought it was a funky happy song but if you read the lyrics it's really not so I guess that kind of fits. I didn't notice how much growling they used to do till you pointed it out haha they really do.

Love Like Oxygen - I remember Jonghyun saying he intentionally sings it in MJ style and maybe you could check out Jinki's imitation of that part 😂😂😂 A.MI.GO. is a shortened korean for 'if you love a beautiful woman you will suffer' and yes the MV is Minho chasing after a girl bc she took his heart 😂 The last song here is 'The SHINee World (Doo-Bob)', a b-side performed along with Love Like Oxygen (just like when CODE and Heart Attack were performed along with Don't call me). The DIBIDIBIDIS will forever haunt Minho lol

lol doobop was specifically included cause it’s a crime not to see the dibidibidis in action 😂

The amigo video makes more sense then, because they were definitely suffering.

Already watched this on Youtube but wanted to let you know AGAIN how happy your SHINee reaction journey makes me ♥ I´ve been a fan since 2010 but from 2013 to 2019 I didn´t really care about Kpop that much anymore... But then I started listeninig to TAEMINs Solo songs and absolutely fell in love AGAIN haha so now I´m a resurrected Shawol and they make me so happy so I want others to know and love them, too :D ♥

I don’t like AMIGO either, but I like how they teased each other about this😂.
