Lots of things I want to say this time! First off the version of "the reason" that you reacted to here is actually from the shinee world 2 concert so when we watch that soon, we'll see it again lol! Very excited to watch with you. The thing about onew's voice you actually brought to my attention nc I def heard it with taemin but now I can hear it more for onew's parts.

This is still kind of the era where taemin and minho get like only a few lines. It was especially bad during their debut album. It starts evening out a bit more during this era and the next. Esp for bsides. I think in that regard, minho getting more lines in the song is part of shinee's formula of having the rap part come later in the song.

And also just wanna say that stranger is one of my favoriteeee shinee songs, especially the dxdxd concert version. Its so hype and it was great here too.

Getting distracted from the song from arms is such a mood. The way it’s happened to me with Minho in View and Yoseob in Shadow lmao. I definitely get where are coming from with Onew. I know nothing about singing but early in their career his voice used to crack a lot and I imagine it probably had something to do with what he ended up having to get vocal surgery for. He’s talked about how after the surgery he had to completely retrain his vocal techniques but ultimately he felt that after the surgery his voice became ‘more his own.’

Also some of the fanchant roll calls happen in the middle or beginning- it’s mainly dictated by when there is long enough break to shout all the names. So for example Sherlock’s is in the intro bc it’s a long instrumental but for Everybody it’s towards the end.

To me, Key performing is intense in a sexy, confident way and Minho in an ambitious, determined way 😂 not saying he's not sexy though!
