Ooh, like the fashion designs! And the tech/magic availability hinted at here!

Gwendolyn Inman

bro what! they got Electricity but they are fighting wars with swords!?

Allison Shaw

People have these ideas that fantasy tech should come at the same pace and in the same order as real life tech and I don't subscribe to that.

Liz

Interesting! That explains the strings of lights in the bath scene. Are they using the city's waterfalls to generate it or is it being brought in from somewhere else? Kizara marveled at the glass but not the electricity which may mean she's already aware/familiar with it? Are the lanterns carried by the servants battery-operated? If Izhingo's backwater kingdom comment is accurate, I'm now curious what the other countries look like tech-wise. Also I love her cut shell earrings. Looks like she might have a conch in her hair? With that and the pearls, she must like rocking ocean-themed outfits (sounded like she was from an island or coastal place).

Well it’s a warm desert I bet they could totally supply the entire city with solar panels

Nualie

Just gotta also figure out batteries on a massive scale! We still workin on storing electricity…

Nualie

Izhingo’s dress looks interesting :0

Excellent eye! It is indeed hydroelectric power! The handheld lanterns are just fire, though, and electricity is completely alien to Kizarasunga.

Jack Newbill

I like Izhingo's design and fashion a lot, but I'm not sure if I like *her.* She's been awful judgy so far.

Ooh more world building! I cannot wait to see the two queens meet!

Imagine having glow in your outfit and then it's all bright everywhere so no one can see, fashion disaster
