Willing to bet she would’ve made an epic god! Something along the same lines as Athena, wisdom in battle, and tigers! At the same time it means she’s died at least once.

Wow, the intensity of Panel 3 is amazing. Your composition and layouts are always so impressive to me! I love the variety and impactfulness, and the use of different techniques across pages.

D'Artagnan Wayland

His eyes are so bright, and wow the hair splay on the fore/pastshadowing

I'd say no but only out of concern for their welfare. I've loved the world building Shaw does ever since the first draft but this is just blowing my mind!!! Please tell us more!!!

I'm so relieved we're getting exposition right away! I was worried the previous page was a chapter end / cliffhanger ^^'

I Suspect the "failed" part of "failed god" means she didn't die when she should have. As in, she was on the path to dying as a goddess, but she ended up surviving, and now the moment when she could have been a goddess has passed, he's just seeing the leftover marks of what might have been.

Fair point. But I can also see her being dead for like a second and then stubbornly coming back like, “not today! “
