Surely he can find ways to preoccupy himself for an hour.... now.

Clover D. Puff

hey she never said what he had to be DOING for that hour... or whomst.

K

FANGS!!!!!! What magical is this?!?!! I am SO excited.

Gwendolyn Inman

Well Rantu won't be seen by Jintu for the next hour, that's for sure!

Areyla

Hello new person! And just who might you be? 👀

India

My GOODNESS

Lauren

I’m pretty sure it’s just the angle of her head and the inside curve of her (normal) teeth

Liz

Rantu nearly accidentally a war. Luckily this new person’s gonna take one for the team and save everyone’s bacon

Luxray

I see she tried to match his clothing style :> (she's really not far off, if at all)

Paul Hannah

The maid seeking him out rather than the other way around helps clarify that the political fallout from Rantu's dalliances with the maids is less "man in position of power using it to coerce women" and more "drunken playboy who won't say no to any woman who can fog a mirror."

Groggu

Tashti knows how to keep him quiet for a while :-)

PeppermintMagicianLynn

I suspected this was more the vibe of Rantu's issues, not so much him forcing himself on people. The royal family seem very serious about respecting their staff members (Kentu making his little brother apologize for being rude to the maids, Jintu's immediate deference to Tashti, Tashti's ease with reigning in these princes, etc). If Rantu's been causing messes with people, they were willing participants (and he'd know because of his lizard powers)

EDHPlayer

Oh dear, I remember what happens after this in the original draft

Alainna Brown

The question is how many times he’s almost started a war by picking up foreign leaders, because he and Tashti appear to have this down to an art.

Allison Shaw

This is not Tashti's work lol she would never

Paul Hannah

Yeah, Tashti seems too focused on etiquette and propriety to be a wingwoman for Rantu.

K

Awwwww no vampires 😞 glad we could help in some small way

Hannah Powell

I thought the vampire teeth were intentional and was so confused when they didn’t reappear in the next post 😭
