Spencer Rose

I've been putting off watching this since it came out. I guess it's that time now. I'm excited to see Brendan Fraser, but know that this is going to wreck my face. 🤣

ScaryPoppins

Ethan Sofinowski

This was eh … there’s plenty better from a24. Also return of the Jedi when??

Veya

I watched this before and I cried hysterically at the end of the movie like full on sobbing. I couldn't stop sobbing. it's the only movie that made me cry that hard

Alison

Would love you guys to watch the movie My Girl. Hannah would love it as Jamie Lee Curtis is in it. ❤️

Miranda Osborne

This movie is based on a play so it’s funny they said it would be a good play

Tyler Bramhall

We gotta vote in a comedy or feel good movie. We can’t keep making Hannah watch the saddest shit possible.

Are we going to react to Return of the Jedi? its been 2 months since Empire Strikes Back...

THis movie breaks my heart. My husband is morbidly obese. I am overweight, but feel I do have a handle on it as I lose weight when I am off medications that cause the weight gain. My husband has so many health problems and they all are attribued to his weight. He has high blood pressure (Dangerously high), Severe sleep apnea (Which could cause him to die in his sleep if he ever falls asleep without wearing his apnea machine....and he has borderline narcolepsy so he falls asleep all the time), he has been battling a would on his leg that will not heal for almost two years with multiple skin grafts and it still isnt healed. He is on about 14 medications multiple times a day and he is extrememly high risk for heart attack, stroke. We have been together for 33 years and married for thirty of them. He is a retired professional firefighter and went through a very traumatic incident about 15 years ago which is when the weight slowly began to creep up. This doesnt happen over night. He has lost weight before, but gained it back plus more. Over the last 14 years we have lost His mother, His father, His stepfather, HIs grandmother, My father, All three of my siblings, My stepfather, One of his brothers and most recently my beautiful 22 year old niece who overdosed. Trauma does horrific things to your mental health and that presents in your physical body. We have three adult children ages 33, 30 and 23. I made it my life goal to make sure my children have a healthy relationship with food and so far for the most part they do. My Husband was raised where food was weaponized and all plates MUST be cleaned. He eats and finishes his meals before I have had a second bite of mine. I was also raised where food was weaponized but in a different way. My mother would call me fat or hoggish if i finished anything before me, where as my sibling brothers were always given seconds and thirds. This resulted in my weighing 74 pounds at five feet seven inces tall when I was in grade 11 and having to be admitted into a eating disorder facility for 12 weeks. I was in an abusive relationship as well during that time and became pregnant at age 20. I found myself at the bottom of two flights of steps 32 hours after giving birth to my son......my ex stepped over my bruised battered body and walked out the door leaving my one day old infant quiety looking into my eyes in the portable crib next to me. I called a friend, took my baby and never looked back. I believe if that event had not occured I would be dead today. I met my husband about six months later and we were married within a year. He is my best friend, my hero, and the best person heart and soul I have ever known in my entire life. After our third child was born I underwent an emergency radical hysterectomy and awoke to him crying hysterically because he had to make the decsion to remove my ovaries while I was under anesthesia, I had a massive tumor on one ovary and ovarian cancer was feared. I was so grateful he was there to make that decision for me. I was only thrity one years old at the time. Shorlty after that surgery I was diagnosed with systemic Lupus. My body is at war with itself constantly and attacks my own immune system leading to constant illness, infections, and attacks to my major organs including my heart, liver and kidneys. I was in the hospital undergoing a procedure on my heart when my beloved father passed away. My husband was at his side letting him know he needent hang on another minute. He would take care of me. He would make sure I was always okay and loved. That his grandchildren were always okay and loved. SO why did I type all of this and tell total strangers my life story? Because it is so important that people understand what trauma does to the body. My husband KNOWS he is fat. Of course he knows that. My telling him that does absolutely nothing but plummet him into further self loathing and depression and his comfort and addiction is food. It makes it worse. He works THREE jobs to take care of his family because I am unable to work. I try to bring income in however I can, but my options are limited and my body is even more limited. My husband is an absolute angel put on this earth. He has saved countless lives as a fireman, he has saved my life on multiple occasions, he raised three of the most amazing well adjusted children I could have ever wished for (Well, We raised them...buthe is an incredible dad!) and now he is a wonderful grandfather to out three beautiful grandbabies. He is an outstanding friend and there isnt anyting he wouldnt do to help anyone in need. He has a flaw. Hes overweight. Very overweight. He fights every day to make better choices and now at 54 years old getting the weight off is 100 times harder than it was at 34. He was recently approved for ozempic which would truly change his life . OUR LIFE. OUr insurance denied the claim. The drug is extremely expensive and we simply cannot afford to pay out of pocket for it. So the good old USofA would rather pay for 15 meds a month and hospitilizations, surgeries and multiple doctor visits a month than pay for one monthly injection so he could get healthy and lose the weight. Fat people face some of the harshest, cruelest comments than almost any other people. Its heart breaking to watch and I am constantly ready to literally physically attack anyone who even side glances my husband. BE KIND. BE SUPPORTIVE. Understand that obese people are NOT LAZY. They know they are fat. They dont need lectures, or advice, or your dietary suggestions. Fat people need unconditional love. They need to know that they are valued, they are appreciated, that they are more than just the number on the scale. The next time you see an obese person at the grocery store, or in the neighborhood, or at their job pay them a compliment. Tell her you like her earrings, or his tie, or literally ANYTHING you can say that is kind. Thank them for their help if they are at work. EVEN if they seem like they are in a bad mood, or the earrings are ugly. Watch their face when you walk away. Edited to add, my husband is 63 and weighs around 325 pounds. He is obese, but he is most like the character in this movie. That said he suffers dailty from issues related to his weight and he encounters remarks, stares, or rude comments weekely from assholes about his weight. To me he is the most beautiful man Ive ever seen in my life.

day 45 of no mockingjay part 1...

DaliiLars

Here's a fun thought: Basic. Instinct. Might not be YouTube friendly, but it would make a fun watch on Patreon-only or something.

Marc Post Jr

First time watch for me as well. The saddest part about this movie is that he is completely missing that what Ellie needed wasn't his money, it was just him. If he had used his money to be more healthy, he could have had much more of an impact on her life. Tragic. What an amazing performance by Brendan Fraser, though. Not only physically unrecognizable from the Mummy era but it shows in his acting as well.

DOSBoot

Good to see you took one of my suggestions after a little bit of lobbying from me. Thank you for reacting to this one. It’s a disgusting yet tragic film to watch, and it’s one that should be seen at least once in your life. Brendan Fraiser won a well deserved Academy Award for this role, and was a major comeback for him. So it’s nice that he’s doing better for himself after this movie. You definitely need to watch a comedy after this one, to liven your spirits up.

Veya

Have y'all seen REC (2007)? It's one of the scariest horror movies out there. I think you guys would really enjoy it

Logan John

Be happy that they pump out content as fast as they do y'all. I'm sure jedi and mockingjay are under the heat lamp. Hannah once said she's seen every movie 10 times with all the editing. I'm still team Mystic River lol

AlexS

I suggest posting a schedule letting us know what movies are coming up.

Ronnie Turpin

Can we get back to starwars please or hunger games you guys started and never finished them Good reactions any way

Robbie Minard

Would it be possible to get a return to Band of Brother, such a great show, I personally would not mind if you restarted from episode 5 to 1 but with Hannah this time if she is interested.

Logan John

I completely forgot they started Band of Brothers and nvr finished. Another RIP to The Raid 2 reaction that got axed. Wish they'd rewatch with someone that hasn't seen it.

Nikolas Wilde

I wish yall did clips of the movie for Patreon. It’s not the same without it.

Shane Darcy

This will never be heard, but please react to Infinity Pool

Crispy

Why are y'all bitching in the comments

Kevin Farrell

I hate to say it, and I don't mean to discourage anyone, but it's incredibly hard to come back from that, especially after a certain age. Especially when you have limited money and no health insurance. I'm not saying not to take steps to better yourself, no matter how small they are. This movie is obviously an extreme circumstance, but there was no coming back from that in this film.

Petrol Patrol

What a fantastic move and great reaction. Ash I think you need to tone it down a little when watching these kinds of films. You used to let the film tell its story without trying to mock the protagonist if it’s a serious film. However still love to see the dynamic between you two.

James Alagala

Do you guys have a P.O. Box or something? I can send some tissues to you guys

Biz

i love this movie ahhhh! i love you guys, any chance you can add the movie clips to your full length reactions like you do on youtube??🙏❤️

Rachel N.

I really love you guys, been watching for a long time and recently subscribed to both yours and Hannah's patreons - you two helped get me through some really difficult shit in my life about two years ago by providing great entertainment - but as a queer person, talking about being queer and referring to it as a "fetish" -- or saying that in the same breath -- really disappointed me. I know you likely didn't mean to do it, Ash, but I would just really appreciate it if you'd be a little more careful moving forward when it comes to subject matter like this. I still greatly enjoy your content and will continue watching, but I just wouldn't feel right not mentioning this.
