The Martian (2015) | FULL LENGTH | MOVIE REACTION

Comments

Mikayla Williams

Please react to My Sisters Keeper, it's such a good film

Shane Darcy

Yes Ash! Been waiting for you to react to this one. Big ups! Also, if I could kindly suggest ‘Infinity Pool (2023)’ for future sci-fi consideration :)

Sherri_Someone

Sandra Bullock played an astronaut in the film Gravity.😘

Alexander Korab-Mühlström

Another great reaction!! Ash please give us what we all need -> Your reaction to the Dark Knight Rises :D

Vicky James

How long ago did you guys record it? seems like 6 months back

Marques _asecas

You should check netflix's Don't look up. It's amazing.

Patrick King

fun reaction, I love you guys and I love this movie! I know the head Nasa guy comes off as overly insensitive at times, but the thing with his position is that the media response and public opinion absolutely matter, and Nasa can't really hide anything from them. Nasa is a government agency indirectly funded by public opinion. He is burdened with trying to keep the entire agency alive and functional, and loss of public approval could absoultely cause the agency to become defunded. So he doesn't really have the luxury of not considering the public reaction to any event. And that's why he works so closely with the head of Media Relations constantly.

Mad Adder

Have fun with Baby Reindeer...hang in there lol

Elle

Answers to a few of your questions: Pathfinder was the first Mars rover. It was sent up in 1997. A SOL is a "solar day" on Mars. Because of the distance, its orbit around the sun is about 40 minutes longer than Earth's. A botanist is a plant scientist. Vicodin is a pain medication. I'm sure it must taste disgusting. I think Mark was just so tired of the taste of potatoes.

Dinomane

They can't say day, because a day on Earth is a different lenght than on Mars. i teach this to 6.graders come on dudes

Markos

thanks for a great reaction.. loved it

Archie East

As a Chemical Engineer with an extreme extra-curricular passion for Aeronautical Engineering and Astrophysics I can confirm this movie is one of the best for scientific accuracy. It has its blips though. One being the dust storm on Mars at the start. Mars does get dust storms however the atmospheric pressure is so low that the wind is basically negligible so it certainly wouldn’t have been enough to fire that debris at Mark (in real life of course).

Trey M

It’s time to “science the shit” out of this!

Trey M

I’m gonna have to step away from patreon cause I can’t afford to buy every movie just to watch along. It’s a great movie no doubt.

Kevin

Hey guys! For me "The Martian" wasn't available on Netflix but it was available to rent/buy on Vudu.com. I'm in the US on 4/20/24

Mike Jenson

You have to watch Apollo 13. A real life space disaster where the world came together for real. A star studded cast as well.

Mike Jenson

Sandra Bullock was in Gravity

ZJP

You guys should definitely watch The Replacements that had Keanu Reeves. You guys would love it. Btw, i am only mentioning it because of how much you guys are vibing to Aretha Franklin at the end of the film. Lol

Logan John

The crow voters....cool...good for you...tick tick........THE MARTIAN

Brittany Thornton

Well now I need a reaction of our girl seeing Interstellar for the first time!

David Mikula

I own the extended version. I had to fast forward a bit to keep in time with you guys. Lol.

ANTO1NE

Yeah we need an Interstellar Hannah reaction ASAP. It’s my all time favorite film.

Alfie Whiting

interstellar has to be next one of the best films ever made

Cam Hutchinson

ash, I plead with the Gods that you and Hannah sit down to watch attack on titan. it has everything you love and more. you will become obsessed. I promise you won't regret it. just give the first episode a try, its 25 minutes.

Eddie Perkins

I have seen so many space movies in the last few months that I could go without another one for a long time. Still, if you want to see a good one based on a true story, Apollo 13 is excellent, with a great cast. To answer one of your questions, I have heard that The Martian is scientifically accurate.

KomoUpNorth

Lol alright let's drop some info. Newton's first law an object in motion will stay in motion unless it is acted upon by another force. In earth's atmosphere gravity and air resistant is the other force. In space there is nothing to stop an object. That's why thew crew can't just turn the ship around, they would have to use fuel just to stop the ship and turn it around.

Logan John

You know the channel is blowing up when ppl are asking for movies they've watched. They did Interstellar years ago

Logan John

Gravity is overrated with ground breaking special effects and americas swetheart. LIFE with Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Reynolds is a better space movie

William Abbott

Blood Diamond please good sir and madam.

Alex J.

We need mocking Jay part 2

Charlieeee

just watched your reaction to Signs, you need to watch War of the Worlds, i feel you'd both absolutely love it, right up your street

Nyssa Rawther 🍉🔻

Please say you'll react to Pearl and Talk To Me soon. They're such good horror films from recent years.

Joker89 C s

Yes god I love your guys always make my day 😂😂😂 but one question how have you not reacted to extraction with Chris Hemsworth yes you would love the action in both films
