Hey guys, loving your reactions. Please know as viewers we dont mind you pausing it to express your thoughts! Just worried you may miss some important dialogue in the movies to come. For example in episode 1 you missed (unintentionally) the line which Anakin said about the slaves having explosive chips in them which prevents escape. This lead to ash’s dislike of Qui-Gon (one of the best characters).

Been watching your reactions for a while now and I literally can not wait till Revenge of the Sith... Its going to be sooooooo good also as for the comment Hannah made I really didn't mind it even giggled a little at it.. she said it.. she reflected.. and then fixed it but even after all of that it was a very light remark. Cant wait for the next reaction personally revenge of the sith MIGHT be the best of the franchise not going to lie :)

Awesome video guys! With obi-wan, he was not a seasoned jedi master when he took on annikin as his Padwon. So their relationship is more brotherly when annikin needed a father figure.

I will say, Ash is onto something about his disapproval of the Jedi. Remember. Anakin brings balance to the force. This statement goes both ways, whether the Sith are on top...or the jedi. Which side right now has the power?

About the age difference, Anakin is about 19-20, and Padme is 24. I believe they are only 5 years apart. That’s why when Padme was Queen, they called her the child Queen, she was about 14 and Anakin was around 9-10 when they first met.

I'm with Ash on this one, Hannah what's better having your mom being tortured then being killed at the end? Or having her near you living a good life then getting killed? That's the point Ash was making. Anakin has lots of reasons for what he becomes, not saying is ok to do but this is the lesson, when you don't deal with trauma as a child it comes out in adulthood in a worse way. Her tragic story is the only reason why is understandable why he becomes who he becomes. The Jedi as Ash said failed to recognize he was different & should have been trained differently.

ASH. His mom would have died if they had taken her. You are so right about the Jedi Order and their rules being partially responsible for what ends up happening. It suffocates them from seeing clearly. I kind of dont like them. BUT you have to understand the nuance of individuals. Qui Gon tried to free Anakin's mom, but was refused in the deal. If they had taken her anyway, she would have died. Slaves have devices in them to kill them if they escape. Annakin left authorized. His mom had the best chance staying put in that scenario, unfortunately. When Qui Gon died, Obi-Wan was still a padiwan. He was a very young man, a learner himself, and there was uncertainty he was ready for his trials. All of a sudden a CHILD was thrust upon him. Not only to teach, but basically raise. Children raising children. And this child is supposedly a prophecy? And the most powerful of all who are in the order? That's so much pressure. There's also a third character you guys don't know in these films, but they were also very young and needed occasional guidance, lol. The Jedi Council should take a lot of the blame. Obi-Wan did make mistakes. But honestly, the Jedi screwed him and his learning just as much, in my opinion. I think it's a feat that he comes back so strong for Luke. The next film is the best in my opinion. I do like this one, though. You see a lot of Luke and Leia in both of their parents in this one, I feel.

Yoda uses a cane because he is really old; he accumulates the force he has left (and it is immense) to use when he needs it. That's why he picked up the cane after the fight, to preserve his energy again for when he needs it... he's the greatest master of force control of all, and now that he's old, he needs to use it wisely.

Ash, understand... it's not a question of him being able to protect his mother if she were taken to live with them; It's the fact that he would always worry about her because he knows she exists and a Jedi can't feel fear, worry, etc... he has to let go of everything to be able to make the most difficult decision. For example, at that moment moving forward to face Duncan. A Jedi would know that the priority was to capture the enemy and move on!

Of course, everyone puts themselves in Anakin's shoes... but still, for him to have any kind of feelings or desires of his own, unfortunately, is wrong because the Jedi's duty is to the republic and only it. The fear he would feel knowing at all times if his mother is okay, even if she lives with him, one day, could be the cause of him going to the dark side... any emotion of pain or fear can make a person ( jedi) gets lost, so to become one you need absolute mental balance (balance of the force)

loved the reaction and god damn the cos play. small point of fact, Ash, your Maul was awesome, however, after watching your Phantom reaction before this one. Maul in terms of how you put him in the Phantom reaction would be like a little bitch to Vader in a New Hope. The fights are a little different in the franchise. and it's not always the most fancy wins. i put Dual of fates (Phantom) above pretty much any saber fight other than Mustafa. yes i think there's one better you'll love. Also totally agree about Anakin and his slave upbringing. Fuck anyone that messes with our mum. All boys abide by that. Though here it happen to go against the jedi code.

They should've went back for Anakin's mom. Obi-wan & Anakin. Qui-Gon didn't have the time to free her. They had to get the queen of Naboo to the Senate to stop an invasion of her planet. Couldn't just kill Watto either cuz that's not the jedi way & if they took her the explosive implant would be set off when leaving the planet. (Anakin says each slave has an implant that explodes if they try to escape the planet) Qui-Gon is the homie so put some respect on his name. Would've been the perfect master for Anakin & he would've gone back for Anakin's mom unlike Obi-Wan who tells anakin to just forget about his bad dreams.
