Brilliant fella, trust me at first it’s weird seeing the new Spartacus but he plays the role perfectly, and the gods of arena backstory is just epic

Well one thing that isn’t spoken much about is that Andy personally picked his... replacement so it is a way to remember the man as well

Thank you Andy, and thank you Ash!. There will always be one Andy, of course. But I think you will appreciate Liam McIntyre. He really did an excellent job. And I was one of the people who doubted him at first.

In my honest opinion, no one can replace Andy. The new guy Liam is good, but it isn't the same. There were many times watching were I couldn't help but picture Andy being there instead. That being said, there's many epic things that happen in future seasons and it's totally worth watching. Again Liam does a good job, but no one can replace Andy in my opinion.

Thank you so much for your heartfelt reaction throughout this amazing series Ash. Hope you'll get a chance to see all the featurettes that accompanied this series...watching Andy and the boys train full out for the action scenes...they truly gave their heart and soul to their art! Also, pick up the DVD's and listen to the commentaries from Steven DeKnight, Andy, Manu (Crixis), etc. that accompany many of the episodes....You can hear the pride in their voices and how much they appreciated working with one another. Be well brother!

If you can get your hands on it, I highly recommend the documentary called "Be here now (The Andy Whitfield Story)". The actor that played Varro helped put it together. Contains behind the scenes stuff from Spartacus but also follow Andy on his journey through cancer. A real heart wrencher but an amazing documentary.

I hope you will watch Spartacus: Gods of the Arena!

Loved your reactions, but mate, you could really need a timer for these uncut videos.
