One of these days, you all need to do a reaction to Red Dragon (2002) and Manhunter (1986), directed by Michael Mann. It was the first one I saw out of them all and one of my favorites.

Brittany Buser

I agree with everyone suggesting Red Dragon! It's a pre-quel but not an afterthought and stars Edward Norton, so so good!

Joonas Willman

The bug guy who was hitting on Clarice in 45 min mark got lucky in the book version and spent a romantic night with Clarice in the end.

HUGO TORRES

Just about to start it but i think i know exactlwhat scene u guys are watching in the thumbnail lol

Xander Merrick

One of these days you gotta also check out a film called Manhunter from the 80s. Not sure if it's reaction worthy. But definitely on your own time.

So are we just picking movies to make Hannah gag at this point? Haha 🤣

A few symbolisms to blow your mind: 1) The first time Starling meets Lecter, he talks about a drawing he did of the Duomo on his wall, and says the Duomo is in Belvedere. Later, the killer turns out to be based in a town called Belvedere (obviously in the US, as opposed to Europe). Lecter knew the answers from the moment he met Starling, he just wanted to play a game of sorts. 2) Lecter almost certainly knew the "offer" from Starling was a lie, because he didn't even bother looking at the papers she sent through about his "new" prison. In the same conversation, Lecter even tells Starling that he'll know if she lies to him. He doesn't even seem to be angry when he sees her next, again reinforcing the idea that he already knew the offer was a lie. 3) As a viewer, we're terrified when Starling breaks all the rules she's told she needs to observe when dealing with Lecter. However, the fact that she breaks these rules is how she establishes a relationship with Lecter, and that leads to her being able to solve the case.

Also, this is one of the very few films that did a clean sweep of biggest Oscars: best actor, best actress, best film, best screenplay, best director. Worth noting that Hopkins won best lead actor even though he only has a screen time of roughly 20 minutes; that genuinely may never happen again.

If you want to see how Hannibal Lector got caught you need to watch Red Dragon. It is a great film based on the wonderful writings on Thomas Harris. Hannibal Lector is my all time favorite character portrayed on screen and for good reason. Anthony Hopkins played him to perfection and it still affects me to this day how terrifying he can be. The film Hannibal Rising shows the origin of Hannibal Lector & why he became the way he did. Hannibal is the sequel to Silence of the Lambs & while it is inferior (in my opinion) it's actually still a good watch. Love the channel my friends! You guys are the best YouTube couple out there!

On another note, I think the dinner scene in Hannibal might actually make Hannah lose it for real.

Johnny Smith

Boyz N The Hood would be a good watch. Similar themes to American History X.

Johnny Smith

Also, Green Room or Becky when it comes to trying to make Hannah yack on Ash

Waldemar Schulga

Lecter was caught by Will Graham in the movie Red Dragon(2002). Prequel to Silence of the Lambs. Will Graham is played by Edward Norton (yes that awesome actor from American History X and Fight Club)!

If you ever get around to doing tv series again, I highly recommend Hannibal. The show is an absolute masterpiece.

Dawn Blanton

I love Edward Norton in Red Dragon, but he’s nothing compared to Hugh Dancy who plays him in the show!! Mads does an excellent Hannibal as well!! Love that show!

Traviss Kelly

Red dragon and Hannibal are musts now just saying!!!

Fantastic reaction mate but this June upload schedule has been garbage. Especially considering you quit your job and pushed to do YouTube/Patreon full time it’s quite disappointing as a patreon supporter. I don’t think 2 movies a week is an unrealistic expectation for patreon and hopefully July brings more uploads.
