I haven't seen this in years, awesome! Such a mint film, that scene at the end when he sees everything in code and it all becomes too easy, iconic, actually..there are tonnes of iconic scenes in this. Peak 2000's this stuff. Nostalgia

S Tier Reaction! Just so you guys are clear. They are not robots, they are still humans. Humans are biologically farmed. The fetus is put in pods that connect them to the matrix. The machines harvest the energy the human body generates in the pods. The machines use the energy to power themselves. So People born in the matrix are still people, They just have "plugs" on their bodies from being connected to the pods.

I swear.. I love this movie so much. It's an awesome movie that I fell in love with as a kid. I watched this for the first time right as it was released on video. I went to see the two sequels in theaters but not this one. I was only 11 in '99 and 10 when this was first put into theaters. xD With how much I love this movie, I CANNOT STAND how much Hannah's talking throughout. Holy god damn.. xD I'm the type of person that demands silence (or near silence) during first watches. I've already seen this a number of times and their constant talking (at varying volumes) interrupted the movie nonstop throughout. Future movies don't have this problem so I'm guessing that it's just how this was filmed or how into it she was. Yes I'm aware that this wasn't his first time watching and it was only her first time watching it. lol, I'd still ask her to try and zip it so she could pay closer attention to things. While she fully grasped the core of the film there were scenes where she missed a thing or two or where she was more confused than she would have been had she just been watching instead of keeping herself distracted throughout. ((in the end though, it doesn't matter as she enjoyed the ride and may decide to rewatch on her own time before we all hop into the sequels.)) The 90's were the best time for action movies, true. Terminator 2: Judgement Day and this - the two best action movies of the 90's (in my book at least). This one's a whole lot more thought out than that though. Then again, T2 was able to play off of the original's ideas while this was completely new. Nothing like this had been made already. This movie was groundbreaking.
