And also you were looking at each other because Harry had just "died" But you missed Neville picking up the Sorting Hat and you can see something shine on his face...... the Sword of Gryffindor was in the hat for Neville to pull out. How are you supposed to watch these? Am I missing something cause there’s no visual or audio… you’re just supposed to watch them react to nothing? Or are you supposed to play the movie at the same time they’re watching it I’m confused

I wouldn’t recommend watching any other movie that is prequel or whatever related to Harry Potter other than those original 8 films, I wish they never did them and left the allait as it is with those 8 movies, I’ve seen snippets and I was immediately tuned off, also there is no official announcement of a new Harry Potter movie whether with original cast or not, and I don’t think it’s likely to happen, and yes you should absolutely react to the reunion that happened I think in 2021 and it’s called “return to hogwarts” it was done for the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and it’s a MUST watch for any Harry Potter fan, also the Doe is Lily and Snape’s patronus, Harry ans his father’s patronus is the stag(deer with antlers) also about Lily and Harry having her eyes, it’s a fact, they just made the mistake of casting a brown eyes girl as young Lily but you can see the adult Lily has blue eyes, in the books Harry and Lily has green eyes, Snape loved Lily romantically as she was the only one who showed him kindness and he came from an abusive house, but she loved him as a friend, Snape understood that and he never stopped loving her or tried to force her, which proves he loved her truly and unconditionally.

Ash, you’re correct about the resurrection stone giving Harry a boost before facing his death. That is why Dumbledore left the stone to him. He wanted to give Harry the opportunity to speak to his fallen loved one and to give him courage to die.

Professor Burbage was the teacher Voldie killed at the dinner table. She taught Muggle studies. Professor Trelawney was the prophecy teacher who could see into the future. Snape kept the wand's loyalty a secret from Voldie because voldie needed to overestimate his dual with Harry. Snape knew that he himself would have to die to make Voldie not suspect during the final dual. Also, Hannah was right about the Elder wand needed to be destroyed, How do you suppose Dumbledore had the wand?

Voldemort killing Snape without magic was actually (in many peoples opinion) a sign of respect, a way of giving him a dignified death instead of just killing him in an instance like any other person in his way. Snape was the closest thing to a "friend" Voldemort ever experienced. He actually cared about him, and even offered to spare Lily's life for Snape (until she got in the way of Harry). He killed him because he had to, but I think it really bothered him that he had to let go of his most "loyal" follower

Watching this series but this movie in particular will never not make me emotional. And especially to watch it with someone new, like u guys, cuz it’s like experiencing it for the first time. It almost feels like a gut punch every time I get to the end again because I grew up watching these movies, probably from an age that I shouldnt have been. I literally don’t remember a world without Harry Potter because I was 1 when the first one came out, and ever since I can remember I’ve watched and loved these films. They raised me and quite literally defined my childhood because my entire imagination as a child was taken up by Harry Potter. And what was even worse for me as a kid was this journey ended when I was 11, the same age they all were when their journey at hogwarts started. It felt kinda poetic but extremely heartbreaking cuz it was really was the end of my childhood and I wanted nothing more than for that journey to start again

I'm late to this, but it's worth noting that James Potter is much braver than Severus. You saw Snape in progression and James in regression, but James had all the money in the world, He had family and a wonderful wife. From there he stood against someone that a handful of wizards dare stand against. Snape joined Voldemort, and then only after maybe losing something he thought may affect him, helped Dumbledore. It's easy seeing how the story progressed to love Snape, but James was a great hero all the same. There's a reason Sirius loved him.
