this movie changed how I saw life when i first watched it! Years ago as a teenager it gave me hope.... "tomorrow the sun will rise, who knows what the tide may bring." a few years back in the pandemic, we watched it with my daughters and this was one of the first movies that they both broke down crying...not because they were sad, but because life is full of heartbreaks and new beginnings..so glad you both watched this with me now. thank you for this. p.s: lol Hannah is right about her coffee Ash...keep bringing it to her in the mornings, and don't worry about her drinking it right away. What counts is the gesture of love. xoxoxoxo

I think it is amazing how well Tom Hanks can act by himself for a whole movie and make u fall in love with a volleyball lol. If you need another beautiful Tom Hanks performance, I HIGHLY recommend Philadelphia.

Love this movie and my wife hates it. I watch it a couple times a year just to piss her off lol. This movie resonates to the deepest parts of my soul. I loved thiso ie because I grew up in extreme poverty; no electricity, no running water most of the time because the well was always broken, no food, alcoholism, just a bad bad situation. All I ever wanted to do was escape to some paradise alone, no one else just me, but after watching this it kinda makes you realize how people need one another just to survive and even though my life sucked it couldn't compare to what he had gone through. It's such a heartbreaking moment when he comes back and his girl has married someone else. It kills me inside everytime.

Such a beautiful ending, always makes me tear up. She couldn't let him go but in the end, He has to let her go. Remember in the very beginning the Ranch said Dick & Bettina, at the end Dick's name is removed from the sign. Love your reactions guys as always. If you're looking for another Tom Hanks movie, I'd recommend Captain Phillips if you haven't seen it. <3

Patreon full lengths cannot have the full film either, unfortunately. Best way to watch is to have Ash & Hannah's video up full screen, then the film from a streaming service or website to sync with, then download a "picture in picture extension" so that you can have the film placed below them very similarly to how it looks on his YouTube edits. Hope that helps!

Different copies are timed different making it hard to synch with ur copy. I have to try to synch with the reflection off the poster lol. Should stick a blurred image of movie up or throw audio from first min or so at beginning. Would make it much easier.

I’m surprised nobody caught it on the comments, the movie starts w a couple having an affair (for no reason) and then some weird edits even Hanna felt u guys missed something and needed to rewind. The movie is full of Easter eggs showing Kelly’s deceit. Once u know this the movie takes on a different vibe and it’s impossible not to see. There’s an essay on utube, Everybody missed the point of cast away, a video essay on betrayal.

using the timer has always worked easy for me. sometimes i have three or four reactors on different screens while i watch a movie, and that only works with the movie audio from one source. so i truly appreciate his format as is. a lot of reactors do include the full movie, but that practice is frowned on by the studios. in the last couple weeks two reactors had their viemo accounts deleted because they included the movie. at the same time other reactors include the movie and they still have their account. I guess it's not a problem until suddenly it's a problem.
