Love Michelle Pfeiffer in this. Married To The Mob is another good movie with her in it. Hope all is well you two. Thank you Ash & Hannah for all that you two do. Much love and respect *hugs* to you both my friends. ❤️❤️🙂

Brilliant movie! Please can you watch the two Avatar movies! They amazing and both took a long time to make! The first Avatar movie took 15 years to make (due to technology advancement requirements) and the second took 5 years but was 13 years in the making! Lots of Oscar’s and you’ll understand why if you watch them!

Say hello to my little friend!

Hi Ash, I watched the movie Scarface for the seventh time with you. It is one of my favorite movies. Can you watch the movie Raging Bull please? It is one of the best films in history, starring De Niro and directed by Scorsese. By the way, De Niro’s acting performance in this film is the best performance I have ever seen in my life🫣.

Eddie Perkins

This has always been one of my favorite movies. I knew you would like it. You need to watch Heat (1995) with Al Pacino and Robert De Niro, by Michael Mann, and it's based on a true story. It is 🔥

Believe it or not, this film was a remake of an old prohibition era film from the 1930s. It was given an update in the 1980s where it was changed from booze running in Chicago, to drug dealing in Miami. Great role for Al Pacino. He’s done a lot of great other films that are worth reacting to as well. If you’re looking for another film with a Scarface feel to it, I highly recommend the Nicolas Cage film “Lord of War”. One of his best, and very underrated.

Ash, mate u need to add "Heat" (1995) to the list with Al Pacino and Robert De Niro...two my fav actors going head to head. Also another one you should consider reacting to is this masterpiece by Scorsese "Raging Bull" (1980) with one of the greatest performances in cinema by Robert De Niro!!! As for Scarface, Tony Montana's line "I always tell the truth, even when I lie" means that he lives authentically and is not a phony. Tony believes that he is honest about his nature, while others in the restaurant are liars, hypocrites and crooks who pretend to be saints. It also meant that when he lied, he did it truthfully, i.e., he did not pretend that he was telling the truth when he was lying. He wouldn't make it seem like he was not lying - If he lied, one would know about it. It's about authenticity, sincerity, being a stand up guy, and keeping your word. These values are important to Tony.

This ending pissed me off so much. That fake ass Johnny cage assassin just coming in

FYI Cuba to Florida is only 90 miles Ash

Martin Chetkowski

During the chainsaw drug deal in the beginning of the movie, the girl in the bikini was sent to distract and delay Manny. The actress who played her was 18 years old and disappeared not long after this movie. She has never been found.

Have you guys thought about starting a series together? The Wire or The Sopranos are the two best series of all time. Depending on how much time you have I know it can be a lot, but squeezing in a series reaction along with a movie reaction would be 🔥🔥I’ll vow to up my tier if you do😭🤍

BillieAnn Munday

Dog Day Afternoon is hands down the BEST Pacino movie ever.

Christian Loukos

Great reaction with one of my top movies of all time. Crazy to think the one good deed Tony did sparing the wife and kids was the deed that got him killed in the end. Some more Mob movie reactions. Casino, Goodfellas, etc would be so good!

Sneaky Poptart

One of my top 3 Favorite movies of all time!

DEVHBE

hey ash can you watch The Abyss 1989 for me ;) its a James Cameron movie with Ed Harris and Michael Beihn

Night King01

Did you guys watch the 4k of this. The 4k is great it really allows you to see the hilarious "south american" henchmen that work for sosa. AKA white stuntmen with really bad spray tans and wigs lol.

Night King01

I have to commend F murray Abraham and Robert Loggia in this. They didnt even attempt accents whatsoever and nobody batted an eye that these two are clearly italian americans from new york with spray tans.

Night King01

I think Hannah had the point of the film. The whole film is about excess in a way. The film is over the top on purpose to show how the excesses of the american dream or tonys warped perception of it and how it corrupts. Remember in the beginning, tony says that he learned about america through movies which only fed into his idealized image of america. Add on that being oppressed most of his life by the brutal Castro government in Cuba and joining a gang in cuba only wrped his sensibility further. Tony Montana is evil. He's a monster, he's a hypocrite he has that strange sexual relationship with his sister and is also a racist and a murderer. There is no redeeming qualities about him until he refuses to kill the children. He has limits and his own code which makes him compelling but it doesnt redeem him. Even the world is yours is brilliant because it comes from a pan american flight ad. He doesnt even care but those words are etched into his brain and drive him. Thats why its so brilliant that he dies in the end because you see how his own personality brought him to that end and the mistakes he made along the way.

GOODFELLAS has to be one of the ones you do soon, it's just like this film, and I actually like it even more than this one!
