Juliane Cyr

Feliciti Jackson

Evoke 310

Aarween

I guess we're watching it again 😂

Tami Hart

Sweet Jesus take the wheel 😅😅

Mad Adder

YESSSSSS here we gooooo mate!!!! I've been keeping an eye out for Hunger Games but this is an even better upload! However, this does mean I have to watch it again haha

Stevy

I love you guys, but I’ll sit this one out💀 can’t wait for everything else tho👍

Rebecca Karsner

Haven't seen this yet.. I am both intrigued and frightened to watch this... 😳 Love your guys reactions though so either way this will be fun 😁

gnarlywitch

love yall soooooo much but i’ve seen this movie once and that was enough😂 gotta wait for the edited version

Nyssa Rawther 🍉🔻

I've never watched it before. Was excited due to the hype but now I'm scared lol. Will watch along with you guys. Wish me luck 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Logan John

I said in the vote, y'all gone need a bib and straw for this one..and maybe a shower after, not a bath

Travis Dukelow

Definitely sitting this one out, such a terrible movie, cannot watch it again.

John Liebling

Two films I'd love to see Ash and Hannah react to are 1. The Deer Hunter with a young Robert DeNiro and Christopher Walken and 2. Pennies from Heaven - a film which cannot be compared to anything you've ever seen before.

John Liebling

What would be hilarious watching Hannah and Ash recreate scenes from their favorite films on this channel, but with a twist - Hannah takes on the male role and Ash takes on the female role. Oooosh!

John Liebling

The reaction is A+ but the film is F-

Patreoneer

Don’t think I’ve ever seen Ash so out of it. I laughed so many times especially with the bath scene and the grave scene. Admit I did not want him to get away with it. I kind of wouldn’t mind you skipping it….but it WOULD be a change for the YT viewers to see something you didn’t like.

Sharpgirl

Do the YouTube edit. In the words of Marilyn Monroe, "If you can't handle me at my worst, you sure as hell don't deserve my best." I need to find the time stamps where you can actually see you "zone out" leaving your body to get away from the movie. Hannah's singing along is always worth the edit!!!

John Liebling

On either Hanna's or Ash's birthday it would be fun to watch both lip synch to Nat King Cole's L-O-V-E

Logan John

I watched this with my girl and didnt like it. At the same time I think it's a really good movie. The acting and cinematography are oscar worthy. Odds are, alot of the haters didnt even watch it

Brittany Buser

This movie is definitely one where you love it or HATE it and personally I love it BUT the style, pacing, drama, etc need to be your thing to like it and I KNEW you'd hate it Ash 😅 for some context, it was inspired by Wuthering Heights (including the grave scene 🙃) the story of a man's obsession with and coveting of a rich family and the demise of it all but, depicted through a more modern, stylish lense and I personally really liked the wildness the director leaned into. Love you guys! ❤️

Landon Peterson

I'm with Ash on this one. The movie had potential till halfway through and then it just became nothing. It was just a jumbled mess of shock factor depravity, nothing more. If I missed something about how it's supposed to be amazing please someone correct me.

Ken R

I liked this because it is trashy, but it is outrageous and shallow. Watch The Talented Mr Ripley for a more quality film. You should definitely release this on youtube because you two had me laughing in many spots.

Nila

damn i was so excited for this reaction, ash looked physically in pain the whole reaction. i really thought he would enjoy reacting to this but im glad hannah did!

Susan B

Barry Keoghan made his power move as an actor in this film. He says he prepared for the role as if playing five different characters - a special version of Oliver for each of his victims. It’s not a great film, but it’s a fabulous one.

Lucas

In terms of symbolisms etc that should have been right up your alley Ash lol can't wait to check it out and see why you hated it...i watched the review ahead of time and pleased to see Hannah at least liked it..To each their own movie is extremely subjective...No one could neither should try to convince you you had a good time if you didn't- thought the movie sort of grew on me over time so it might get better the more you sit on it but again I never -hated it' like you seem to lol I think a lot of the shock factor is deliberate and truly not as gratuitous or empty of meaning as what you thought of them if you look at the themes explored...some good analysis of the messages of the movie might change your mind, or not lol in any case can't wait to see your reaction to the whole thing

Toby Hearne

My girlfriend loved those scenes haha. She found Barry Keoghan very unattractive before the film, and now she's obsessed with the guy. What is going on in your mind, women!! I honestly think that's why the films so popular. Women bloody love men like this! Each to their own haha.

Petrol Patrol

I’ll watch this one, but can we get back to the ‘must see’ films and come back to the new ones another time?

Liv

The first time I tried to watch this film (purely for Jacob Elordi), I was like Ash and had to pause and walk away. When I told people I didn't enjoy the film, they made me seem like I was insane so I'm glad you two were equally as disgusted (ifykyk). Cinematically, i think the film is shot well and the actors are very talented but it's still a no for me. Anyways, a film i want to recommend that I think you'd both enjoy is the 1984 film 'The Breakfast Club' after watching your amazing 'Stand By Me' reaction.

Alex

I thought the first 80% of the movie was good, the twist at the end with Oliver's parents was decent. After that it just got fricking weird though.

Eddie Perkins

Bro, I have been sending you gems, and this is what you play. Whatever you do, don't let Hannah get around some strange cult because all they would need was the right music, and she would be in. By the way, this movie is just a creepy knock-off of The Talented Mr. Ripley, which is a lot better than this. I am still waiting for Heat.

BillieAnn Munday

I know you hated it ASH, but I recommend watching it again a second time and really just focusing on the acting and the story. I wish they had left out a few parts or left them to imagination because it would have been a brilliant film without them. I second, third, fourth and fifth The Talented MR Ripley. It has the guy from good will hunting in it and it is such a good psychological thriller without all of this gross overkill. Stellar movie!!!

Ben

Ash got more genuinely emotional watching this than maybe any other film on the channel. That means something but idk what

Ben

this is why you guys should stop with the appeasing the fans nonsense, it’ll never ever lead you to the best films of the year like anatomy of a fall, holdovers, American fiction, Godzilla minus one, RRR, dream scenario or killers of the flower moon, don’t just appease the masses, go with the most critically acclaimed films and very quickly you’ll start to see better movies than you ever have before!!! And isn’t that the point?

Susan B

Happy to see that Saltburn got some love at the BAFTAS. No wins, but nominations for Keoghan and Pike.

Alan Tuley

Please do, this is an amazing movie & love your reactions!

Bianca

Ash you have to edit this! I think you just called the intentions and motives earlier than Hannah for once. The 1st watch is uncomfortable but it’s worth it.

Sammxney

Ash needs to give himself more credit. He's a very very handsome man youd have to be in order to get someone as gorgeous as Hannah come on now

Sammxney

I think this is definitely worth putting on YouTube. That aside maybe it's cuz I also loved skins I was with Hannah up until about an hour and 40 minutes then I was with Ash I was aggravated and disgusted and then at the last scene I was back with Hannah but like those 20 minutes before the 2-hour mark we're just like actually sick and not like in a fun or good way.

Logan John

Years as a patron I've nvr seen Ash react to a movie like this. Especially with this second watch I noticed its littered with symbolisms. Ash in the post felix death lunch - "this movie doesn't deserve my symbolisms" 😂

Logan John

One day in and it's on pace for the most commented reaction

raven

in advance, sorry for this wall of text: i feel like hannah really got the film and is just more into the performance and overall cinematography and vision. i feel like she understood what the film was trying to do and the nuances. ash, love ya mate but it was definitely disappointing seeing you shit on this movie- i feel like you checked out during some of the dialogue scenes bc you had already decided you hated the movie and missed some of the most incredible performances and scenes- Venetia in the bath calling him a moth (her actress’ performance here literally took my breath away), the way Oliver was honestly 5 different people depending on who was trying to manipulate, the family dynamics and the final lunch. the whole point of the movie is to disgust you, to unnerve you, to make you want to stop watching. you’re supposed to viscerally hate Oliver’s character and his actions but also not find any of his victims that redeemable either- they’re condescending, pompous, frivolous, and completely self absorbed. you also have to really listen to what they say about each other to get into the individual’s heads. the characters have a lot of depth when you look below the surface and read hard into the dialogue. tons more info is there about the character if we just listen to how they talk about each other, and Oliver is so observant he figured out generations of dynamics in a matter of weeks and used it to play them off of each other. they throw their money around trying to find excitement in their boring Uber rich lives. they have everything but also nothing. they are gossiping, nosy and desperately miserable people. you’re supposed to find all of them unrelatable and off putting. you should feel disgusted and shocked because what Oliver did IS disgusting and shocking. you’re supposed to feel exactly the way you did. the film succeeded in what it set out to do if you wanted to look away.

syndor

I absolutely agree with Ash - this is easily in the top 5 worst movies I've ever seen. 'Hereditary' still stays in the lead and I doubt it will ever be topped. Ash, surely someone has requested you to watch 'Tenacious D In The Pick of Destiny' before but saying it just in case it's passed you by! I think you'd have a blast.

nekogirlfiles

Please watch Society of the Snow pleaseeeeee

George T

I agree with Hannah's opinion on this one...

Sarah

Definitely edit this for YouTube. Most people who watch the reactions for this do it because of the nasty/crazy scenes. 😆😆 (Of course it's all part of perspective as to how people feel about it but generally speaking alot of people see it as a "wtf did I just see" movie. 🤣) I'm the same as Ash in the sense that I didn't actually care much for the film itself but I'm also with Hannah when it comes to recognizing that it's still crazy good acting. And I do think it has some on point cinematography. I enjoy the reactions though to see how people react to the nasty crazy stuff. 😆😆 I would assume if you put it on YouTube it will do pretty good. Most Saltburn reactions seem to be doing well. But aside from that we want honest reactions more than anything. Share all of your reactions, whether you liked the movie or not. 👍

Petrol Patrol

I agree with Ash on this one. Let's get back to crossing off some of the best films ever made, and leave this stuff for now. Up to you wether you put it on YouTube or not. This film has a lot of buzz so will probably be good for the channel.

dieselbeast

Im with Hannah on this one, if you just judge Ash's facial expressions during the crazy scenes, you wouldn't think he didn't like it 🤷

LX

Definitely not worth editing for YouTube so you could dedicate that time towards classic films. This movie got popular because of some tik tok trend
