Angelique

One of my fave alien films of all time.

Peter Montaño

Yes mate! SYMBOLISMS: THE MOVIE! What an all time classic.

Georgieboy03

Love it Ash as always my brother !

Sarah

I know what I'm watching tonight!

DaliiLars

My prayers have been answered!

Sherri_Someone

Ya’ll need a safe word if you’re engaging in that type of horseplay 🥳🥳🥳

Tyler Bramhall

I will pay a pretty egregious price to get the Equalizer 2 & 3

LukasBobola

Guys you HAVE TO see "War of the Worlds (2005)" too! ♥

Addie Kaen

Thank you guys so much for doing this. It's a cult classic and one of my top 10 films of all time. Everyone in this did a phenomenal job. I still tear up at the wife/mom's death.

Eddy

The premise is a bit dumb. A bunch of galaxy traversing aliens allergic to water come to a mostly water covered planet and decide to invade naked, but it's otherwise a great movie. I love the horror elements rather than the usual gunfight with aliens these movies have.

Brittany Buser

Sooooo happy you watched this! I love M. Night Shyamalan! You absolutely have to watch The Village next!!

bits

Agree that the whole water thing is super silly, but an awesome movie overall. If you think too much about Shyamalan's movies they don't really work lol, but they're still cool. ..Based on your love of alien movies, you guys NEED to watch Arrival, you will both love it .. I think Hannah will REALLY love it.

Bridger English

Not certain you guys caught it at the end - the dad realizes the reason Morgan was born with Asthma was to save his life in that moment. If he didn't have the condition, the poison gas would have killed him. Such a fun reaction, you two. Awesome to see your ah-ha moments, Signs is on my all-time best list. I'll strongly recommend The Village (M. Night) and Annihilation (Alex Garland, director of Ex Machina) as one of my other fav 'alien' films.

Red

Great movie and great reaction been waiting for this one. If you want another alien movie I would suggest FIRE IN THE SKY based off A true story.

Radioflyer

Unpopular opinion, but M knight is one of my favorite story tellers. My most favorite is lady in the water. The movie is so misunderstood but to me it was just awesome.

Arthur Clifford

The "symbolisms" of the water was that they were left half empty at the beginning but the significance was that they were half full. So pessimism vs optimism. I also think there was an implication that Bo and her Mom had some ability to see the future. Bo saw her brother die (or thought she did) that's why she said had a dream and didn't want him to die. She also may have seen the Alien reacting to the water ahead of time and that may be why she thought something was wrong with water. And the mother dreamt of her son and he was like what she dreamt, aad as well she knew what to tell her husband to see. If you like the little girl and have not seen it yet, try Little Miss Sunshine.

Madeline

PLEASEEE I need yall to Watch District 9 guarantee you both will love!!!

M. Night Shyamalan is certainly one of the most polarizing directors of our time. Signs is certainly one of those movies people either seem to love or hate. Fortunately, I’m one of those that love this movie. Sure, the dialogue can certainly come off as deadpan at times, but I really think it’s a well thought out story about finding one’s place during a bad situation. Mel Gibson, and Joaquin Phoenix were great as always, Kirean Culkin and Abigail Breslin were excellent as the kids, and James Newton Howard’s score sets the tone of the film perfectly. It just a great sci fi suspense thriller. If you’re looking for more from the director, I highly recommend Unbreakable, without a doubt his best movie to date.

Rebecca Filo

M. Night is either great, or garbage. There is no between. I think this is a great. I was 12 when this came out (I'm ancient!) and my dad and I always bonded over seeing movies together and for some reason around when it came out, not much else was really out so we must have seen this like five or six times in theaters. It's now become a really special movie because of the memories made seeing it! (He also thinks the parody of Signs in Scary Movie 3 is endlessly hilarious!) I'm so happy you guys watched this, and thank you for sharing with us, always.

Eddie Perkins

Mel Gibson is good in everything he's done, maybe not everything, but he's great when he's hitting on all eight. You must watch Conspiracy Theory (1997) and Ransom (1996). I'm sure you have seen The Patriot; if not, that would be my first recommendation.

Tori

One of my favourite movies, this one scared me so bad as a 12 year old that I wasn't able to sleep a wink! I honestly think it's one of the best horrors ever made. The build up is so good and I love how it doesn't show you the monster right away, the tension is crazy! I can also appreciate the struggle Mel Gibson's character goes through soo much now that I'm much older. <3 Cheers guys.

Danielle Bergmann

I've never actually seen this movie, so decided to watch for the first time with you guys. The brother is so deadpan funny, lol.

Veya

I loved watching this movie with you guys!! I agree with Hannah, the little girl was the cutest little thing eveeeer. Horror Movie suggestions: 1. The Autopsy of Jane Doe 2. The Last Shift (2014) 3. The Blackening 4. Talk to Me also I know ash already reacted to HEREDITARY with his sister but I would love to see Hannah's reaction to it as well, it's the scariest horror movie ever

MateoP

Watch the revenant! It’s the movie that got Leonardo his first Oscar 👌!

LucyLu13

yaaassssss, one of my fave movies and solid reaction! love you guys

John Liebling

Ash and Hannah check out the following movies: 1. Animal House, 2. Step Brothers, 3. There's Something About Mary, 4. American PIe, 5. 40-year-old Virgin, 6. Forgetting Sarah Marshall

Jordan

Add nightcrawler starring jake gyllenhaal to yall list wont disappoint

Anthony

Such a great cast , amazing score and filled with symbolism’s! Show Hannah E.T it’s the nice alien movie she wants to see. Aside from the twist M Night always has a sweet scene in every single one of his movies like in this one where the father is telling his children how they were born, or even the dinner scene where he breaks down. He does have some bad movies but I’ll always be a fan of him just seems like a genuinely good guy

I saw an UFO in around 1995 upstate NY. We were in a set up pretty much the same as the house in that movie, out in the yard about 7 pm. At first I thought it was a helicopter shinning a light down on me about 100 feet away or closer, and then I realized there was no noise and no wind. I couldn’t see the object behind the light, just the light shining down. Lasted about 15-20 seconds and it just took off. If it were today I would say 100% it was a drone. Moved just like a drone. So unless there were drones back in the early 90s… My friend saw it too, we told people but there’s not much anyone can say.

BlackGamerDad

I really love this movie. As a father it really hits home. Love the cast and the music. Great movie. Loved the reaction even though you guys talked over some parts. :D I was like be quiet and listen! lol

Patrick

“The Fourth Kind” is also a good all-movie. I can't wait to see you when you watch Army of Darkness. If you enjoy the franchise, I can recommend “Ash vs Evil Dead” (on Netflix, set almost 30 years later). Is a series with 3 seasons, 10 episodes each (25min)

Dontai Green-Chapman

Hi Ash and Hannah. Loved this reaction! Please watch Unbreakable (2000) it is another M. Night movie and it is a trilogy! Great video, love you guys

e n

If you think Abigail Breslin (Bo) was super sweet and cute here, I'm begging you guys to please watch Little Miss Sunshine (she's the main character)!! One of the most dark yet heartwarming and funny movie I've seen!! 🥺💛

Brittany Buser

I've commented this before but please please watch M. Night's The Village or add it to the poll its soooo amazing!

Nicole

Id love to see you guys cover OLD by M Night.. it’s funny as hell!
