I've played with paper and plastic crush able props with my wife, if she ware anything with a sole I've put the lil snap pop fire work popper s in the palsict cars from Amazon and when she crunched them they make a nice boom, mini explosion💥. Maybe something g you could try with tanks I would not recommend bare foot though lol.
