I commissioned this piece from InPrintCondition and I'm so happy with the results.

PLEASE NOTE: Theae files are not included as part of the seller tier as they were made by another artist and I cannot grant that permission. Please contact @inprintcondition if you are interested in selling prints.

Please note these are scaled for 1/18 so you need to print everything at 150% for Black Series scale!

Due to the complex shapes, you will need to experiment with supports and layer heights in your slicer. I recommend looking into "tree supports" and "adaptive layer heights" in Cura if you haven't already checked those out! The cockpits were printed with clear PLA.

This will be exclusive to this Patreon until March 10. I highly recommend InPrintCondition's Patreon if you enjoy his work. The files are large so sorry for the many .zip folders!

Any clear pla recommendations? My cockpits are printing too frosty

Michal Kufel

You could Use thin transparent plastic (warmed to to poitn you can form it) like from the black series boxes and wrap it over template (print of cockpit glass), then glue it.

The Rebel Base Build

It's very nice, interesting to see our different takes on it 🙂

Landspeeder Luke

This one was way above my skill level but I’m happy to see his results!

Is left wing supposed to be on there twice? And is the middle part of the ship (where the cockpit is housed) missing from the files? I can't seem to find it. Thanks

AlanRappa

Middle B - nevermind

braulio gonzalez

any recommendation to support the pieces on the printer bed?

DNME

Small correction: upscale from 3.75" (TVC) to 6" (black series) is 160%, not 150%. Yes, I know, if you go by 1:18 scale to 1:12 scale it would be 150%, but the problem is that 3.75" figures are smaller than 1:18 even though people call it 1:18 scale.

mountain_spoon

I'm getting a lot of jagged edges and pixelation at 150% :(

Commando2040

What do I need to scale it to for 1:6?

Steven Paluch

What did you print? I printed a wing and got some gnarly "wood texture"

Anyone using an Ender 3 v2? Seems like I may have to cut a few of these parts before CURA as they are just a bit too big. Also if anyone has support settings they have used, please share, this one is tough.

Underworld Palace Customs

i don't know if anyone answered your question or not, but you would just need to scale it up 300% for 1/6 scale

Nova Kane

Is it ok if i have my friend print it for me?

Steven Paluch

Can you add a photo of where - middle_B_right_greeble goes? It doesn't seem to fit where I think it does. Thanks!

Nathan Kozuch

Did you ever figure it out? I have no idea.

Nathan Kozuch

I mean the photos look like driver side slot, but is not the right shape.

Steven Paluch

I did not, I think I’ll find the original designer to see if they know

Nathan Kozuch

I got ahold on him, there is a updated file. It goes where you think it does, my advice is just trim it to fit

Steven Franchini

trying to upscale to 1/12 scale. I'm using an ender 3. the biggest piece, which is Middle A1. its too big and doesn't fit. I tried flipping it, tipping it with supprts. its just to dang big. Any suggestions?

Alex Bottorff

there is a motor right uncut file to print the entire piece, any chance there is one for the left motor so I don't have to print 4 pieces?

Troy

download mesh mixer (Its free) then cut it into as many pieces as you need to. I think you go to edit-plane cut-keep both. then to save you have to click on each piece to save (Check youtube tutorials)
