Hey there all you spiders and pals!

We hope you are all swinging your way through January like we are! I’ve been spending a ton of time on the web lately, making some bad trivia for our upcoming show, Into the Stripperverse! This was a super last minute decision to put on the show, we were going to take some time off for a bit, but instead no! Spiderman Burlesque! Surprise! ::::D

Upcoming Shows

Into the Stripper-verse!

Swinging onto the Rio stage and into your hearts on Saturday, January 28th, 2023. Doors at 8pm, Show at 9pm.

This will be another fun show, with not one, but TWO arial hoop/hammock numbers, Fairlith is performing, Androsia Wilde is performing, and there is a brand new class of Newbies being the pointing spidermen.

*Sneak Peek* Muppet Burlesque!!!!

Not announced, not official yet - but we have picked the theme of the Muppets for our March show. I’m dying, I am so excited, there will be chicken group numbers, and a Kermit, and Muppet fun. Stay tuned for ticket links!

What else have we been up to, you may ask?

Well, we made the first episode of “Draw Me Like One of Your Nerd Girls” available now for the Standing Ovation Tier. Watch as our talented artist, Shy Gay sketches out a new drawing of one of our Geekenders performers! This pilot episode featured Jayne Fondue, (cause I was over at his house anyway). It was a lot of fun, and it is always so impressive to me that someone can just like.. Scribble on a page and it turns into art?

Not related to Geekenders - I watched Everything Everywhere, All at Once again a couple weeks ago, and honestly, I love that movie so much. 10/10 no notes.

I also listened to the entirety of the Spider-Man Musical, and boy is it AWFUL. Just a hot garbage fire. 1/10 for the hilarity of reading what a mess it is. Go check it out. What a disasterpiece.
