Hey there all you Aprils and Showers,

I have a riddle for you:

Why does Darth Vader like his toast a little burnt?
.

.

.

.

He likes it on the dark side….

Hilarious! That terrible joke was submitted by one of the Rebel Newbies in the welcome form, and I’m not saying I pick favourites… but that definitely put them in the running.

In related news, I am elbow deep in Star Wars Trivia right now, because Star Wars days are coming up SO SOON!

Recent Show Update:

Muppet Burlesque was all I have ever wanted out of a show. Hosted by a frantic Kermit, heckled by two old men in the balcony, gorgeous pigs, and lots of chickens.. It was a clucking good time.

The video looks great - and it will be uploaded here soon! In some format. Youtube keeps blocking it entirely because there were too many copyrighted songs used or something. Ugh. But we’ll get it to you eventually!

Upcoming Shows

The NABOO REVUE!: A Star Wars Burlesque

We’re doing a Star Wars, We’re back by popular demand, Come on everybody, strike up the bantha!

.. I’ll keep working on my Muppet Star Wars parody songs.

Anyway this fabulous show is hosted by Galaxy Queen of Dreams, Fairlith, as "C-3P0. Human-cyborg..... relations.

This show will also have a pretty stacked cast (don’t they all? We’ve got such talented people in our group!), a couple of great group numbers, and a lot of rhinestones. I personally spent most of this past weekend stoning my costume, so there should be lots of sparkles on stage.

DND Pride Show/Dance Party?

You all are the first to know - we’re playing around with a couple different ideas for our June show. One of which is bringing back our DND theme for pride! We’ve also discussed the idea of doing a Dance Party/Nerd Prom again - “In bed by 11”.

Nothing official yet of course, but things may be coming!

Other fun stuff

Is anyone else watching Schmigadoon Season 2: Schmicago? It’s available on Apple TV/Apple + (?) and it is an absolute delight. If you are into camp and musicals, you’ll like this show. No Geekenders in the production so far, but we’ll keep working at it!

Catch you all on the dark side,

XO Jayne Fondue and the Geekenders

Bonus:  ̶C̶a̶t̶ Dog Content

I had bumped out all the cats in the lineup to show you this baby. Her name is Molly and she is the newest member to the (extended) Fondue family. You get two pics because one is definitely not enough for this sweet baby. Maybe one day she can be a star of screen, like her cousin Maisie….
