Hola, hola, my duuuuuuuuuudes!!!!Alright, amigos, a new galactic SW3D term is starting again, and this time we’re opening the door with a messy, glorious, old-school Star Wars moment!!!!Things went wrong, the plan got cooked, the droid got wrecked, the Wookiee got mad… Only this awesome universe can take a giant furry warrior, a golden protocol droid in pieces, a blaster, a junk pile, a glowing city in the clouds, and turn it into one of the most lovable disaster moments in the galaxy far, far away!!!! Give it up for the awesome, chaotic, heroic, and absolutely classic Chewbacca with C-3PO Sculpture!!!!This piece goes straight for that Empire Strikes Back magic!!!! Chewie steps forward with the bowcaster ready, roaring with all his lungs, while C-3PO rides on his back in full survival mode. And the base brings all that junkyard, droid-parts, sci-fi scrap, glowing platform flavor, with the Empire Strikes Back logo sitting there as the perfect final touch to the whole scene!!!!This is our first concept reveal for the May Term, and man, what a way to start!!!! Funny, heroic, weird, dramatic, warm, dangerous, and full of that original trilogy flavor that never gets old!!!!

NOTE: Muchas gracias for your patience, your support, and all the love you’ve been giving us through this month and every month. The April Term took more time from May than we wanted. So, instead of saying sorry and moving on, we wanna let you know we’re making changes inside the process, fixing things from the roots, and doing the work needed so the next drops can move better. That’s why some things are taking longer right now, but this work will be felt by the community in the next few months. The best is yet to come, amigos.

For now, welcome to the May Term!!! The Wookiee is in, the golden droid is hanging on for dear life, and the SW3D starship is moving again!!!! Keep an eye on Patreon cuz more galactic goodness is coming, and we’ll have a totally busy week!!!!Today and always, may the Force be with you!!!!Ta, ta, my dudes!!!---------------------------------------------🪐 Welcome Pack: https://www.patreon.com/posts/welcome-pack-and-79392671🪐 Character Suggestions: https://www.patreon.com/posts/129525930🪐 How SW3D works: https://www.patreon.com/posts/le-rules-83488985🪐 Q&A: https://www.patreon.com/posts/q-common-and-83487616🪐 Community: https://web.facebook.com/groups/starwarspatreon🪐 Freebies for the community: https://linktr.ee/wicked3d

Chewe looks so cool, I have a question, in the diorama of the rescue of the princess of Luke and Han in stormtrooper armor and Leia, is Chewe gonna be the part of the diorama too or only the three of them???

Gary Martin

Looks great but can you replace the Bowcaster with the DH11 stormtrooper gun as I think that is what he was carrying at the time. Would also love to see a version to go with the Death Star rescue.

Sergio

Solo diré: ¡Urrrrggghh! 😁

Is it too late to subscribe and get April's models?

Habu1271

Yaaaaassss!!! Always wanted this version.

Jeremy Rosencranz

Holy cow I’ve been waiting for this one. I’ve been trying to figure out a way to combine the old Chewy and 3PO models to do this

Hey mi amigo! What's uuuuuuuuuuuup! Oh! You have a keen eye! Thank you so much for the feedback; we'll pass it on to the team so we can make the change amigooo!

Hey mi amigo! What's uuuuuuuuuuuup! The first models were designed so that only Luke, Han, and Leia could be placed side by side, but we'll talk to the team and see if we can add Chewie. We'll let you know as soon as we have any updates! In any case, if you put Chewie behind them, it would look great too.

I agree with some of the other comments. In The Empire Strikes Back Chewbacca was carrying the E-11 Blaster when C3P0 was piggybacking. You have done a Chewbacca in the past with his Bowcaster but it was in his wrong hand also I'm going to be a bit mean here - the likeness wasn't really there, he was a bit beefy - (he should have been slightly lankier ) - Also he has a right sided sneer when he growls, ( if you believe it was a man in a mask it was due to an inner mechanism ). As you are doing Chewbacca perhaps you could make a definitive one with switch-outs. "Star Wars A New Hope" with Bowcatser also DLT-19 Heavy Blaster Rifle and "The Empire Strikes Back" with the E-11 Blaster. ( There is a scene where he has a breathing mask on as well ). you would have to do a head switch out as well as the hair style was different in both movies - more combed in A new Hope and more tousled in The Empire Strikes back. I would like to add that this is a big ask and to get the likeness of Chewbacca can be very difficult and that I am grateful of the time and effort that everyone at SW3D puts in and that anything they do release will be exelent. Thank you.

Hey my dude!! What’s uuuuuuuuuuuup! Thank you very much for your feedback. Don't worry—at SW3D, we're always open to suggestions. We'll talk to the team and look into the weapon so we can get the correct version. As for the heads, maybe in the future, my dear friend!

Hello There. You guys are awesome...a little delay is no problem, but appreciated the acknowledgement and update on how it's being handled.

I would love to see this too... I may have suggested this before. lol.. If you do add Chewie to the detention block rescue, any chance you could do a special base were all 4 characters could stand in a group on the one base. It would be epic to see.
