🔥July Term: The 501st Is Ready to Roll!!!! (Patreon)

Que pasa, my duuuuuuuuuuuuudes!!!!We hope the weekend is treating you well, because something covered in smoke, scratches, and 501st blue just stepped off the battlefield and into today’s release!!!! Trained to scout ahead, cross rough terrain, and find trouble before the rest of the Republic army arrived, this trooper clearly took the assignment a little too seriously. Now he’s rolling in with the walker and the wreckage!!!  Advanced Recon Force trooper, battlefield scout, AT-RT rider, and soldier of the legendary 501st Legion!!!! Give it up for the fearless and battle-worn ARF Trooper & 501st Legion Sculpture with AT-RT!!!!

This piece throws us right into the Clone Wars, with the walker charging through broken machinery, vegetation, debris, and a huge cloud of smoke rising around its legs. The scratched armor, worn panels, exposed mechanics, and packed battlefield base make the whole scene feel like it has already survived one very rough mission!!!!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Before those machines start roaring: this sculpture was designed and tested at 1/8 scale, and we strongly recommend printing it at that size. Taking it up to 1/6 could add too much weight to the walker and base, increasing the risk of cracks over time!!!!And now the best part, amigos: the files are ready for you!!!! This looks so so good except I hate to be the downer but you have the logo wrong you have the logo for the galactic empire on there when that should be not on there. Since it would have been the galactic republic so in the clone wars usually they just had 501st painting on there or nothing at all. I think maybe your reference was accidentally the imperial remnant AT-RT and not the exact 501st AT-RT like it should have been. Otherwise it’s so so good and I love it. But just that logo should be different. Also if you really want to get into it. Those 3 diagonal tubes on the sides shouldn’t be there either. Again they are on the imperial remnant model but not the 501st model.

It could have been a rapid addition during order 66 with the logo change right? I could be wrong but couldn't this fit in that small period? Great job on the model by the way to the designers. I wish all my legion models could look this good!

Or it could just be fixed. It’s a great model otherwise. But it definitely wouldn’t be accurate. Once it was the galactic empire the clones left because they weren’t fighting for the empire they were fighting for the republic. The empire used storm troopers. Order 66 was just like a quick thing they wouldn’t be like hold on let’s paint on these logos quick lol no clones would have that emblem because they hated the galactic empire they were for the republic. But the empire did use the AT-RT with the galactic empire logo on it that is accurate but then the guy driving should be a storm trooper. Not a 501st clone. It definitely 100% would be the republic logo in the 501st. Technically they just had a painted on 501st number on them not even a republic logo. But definitely not a galactic empire logo that’s 100% for sure.

This is a really cool model. 💪🏻 However, as I’ve mentioned before, it would be great to have a simplified base option. I feel the bases are sometimes overdesigned and add printing time and costs. For example, with the AT-RT some might prefer the standard model without all the extra ‚fire and brimstone’ detailing. 😉

Its the 501st, the big guns have arrived and daaaaaaaaam this is awesome stuff as allways jam packed with insain details . Was the 501st the ones that got turned into purge troopers when order 66 fell because thay were so good at what thay did I could be wrong but im pretty shore anyway enough rambling , truly an amazing peace to add to the ever growing wall of statues love the clones.
