The Waves Keep on Crashing on Me For Some Reason | Sacred Symbols, Episode 310

After a flurry of activity, we find ourselves in a bit of a lull. And frankly, that's good. We could all use a little bit of a rest. Doing so allows us to catch up, refresh, and anticipate what lies behind the next undoubtedly-busy corner. With E3's multi-pronged replacement readying a barrage of announcements and other newsworthy bits, let's clear what's on our plate at present. Firewalk's divisive Concord has been given a (compelling?) price, PSVR2 is receiving its long-rumored PC adapter, WB loses $200 million on Rocksteady's Suicide Squad game, the original Halo is rumored for release on PS5, and much more. Listener inquiries wrap things up, per usual. Does Astro Bot have the potential to be PlayStation's next big IP? Do Chinese games deserve more respect? Why doesn't PlayStation Network allow you to buy digital titles for your friends? Is Colin a psychopath for embracing the 'sock-shoe, sock-shoe' lifestyle? Follow the hosts on Twitter! Evans oil filled heads. Deep, dry resonance…I love them.

Sacred Symbols Body Pillows coming soon. There gonna be like those WWE wrestling buddies from the 80s.

Jimmer

Colin is lying about his body pillow length because he didn’t want to feed into the narrative that the pillow is clearly in his crotch area and therefore he’s grinding on it. Make him go get the pillow and hold it up next to himself on video. He won’t. Chris was onto him but can only push so far. 0% of MyPillow’s body pillows are the length he’s describing. They run head to toe. Body pillow-gate starts now.

On the “watching so much YouTube” conversation, it’s amazing how many people I talk to IRL and ask “oh you have YouTube Premium right?” and they look at me like I’m some sort of alien life-form. How any modern human is able to function without it baffles me. Both my wife and I have Premium accounts and YouTube is constantly on in our house.

The sock shoe debate has me crying laughing. Thank you for what you guys do here. It's God's work.

STEVE WALLIS MENTIONED! Seriously, though, his life is sad, What actually started his stealth camping journey is him being homeless. He would live out of his car while going to school to get his hvac license. So he had experience living out in the woods and public places. It's sad because throughout his youtube career, we've seen him go from homeless to getting through school to getting married and owning land and a home. Then, he lost his wife and best friend and still tries to be cheerful

Colin, with next week being episode 311 of the Sacred Symbols Podcast, and Slitterhead gameplay imminent, there are so many name choices for next week’s episode. Slit Tight Translitstor Beautiful Slitaster Slittin & Rockin SoundSlitstem The opportunities are not endless but they are aplenty.

The Metallica conversation near the top was killing me I wish I could have hopped in and straightened everyone out. Cliff Burton was the original bass player who died in a tour bus accident. Dave Mustaine was the original lead guitar player who later formed Megadeth. Kirk Hammett replaced him before their first album came out. Jason Newstead started on And Justice For All which they turned the bass way down for and makes the album sound hollow. However, with the black album and onward his bass was a normal volume and he had prominent parts like My Friend of Misery. Robert Trujillo started with St Anger and is the current bass player

Now they are besmirching ranch too? What is going on with this episode.

LET'S GET IT

superbadisfunny .

Milk before cereal is scientifically correct. People only do what the other way because of commercials. Makes cereal worse.

Dolin sounds like a name of one of the dwarves in the hobbit lol

Jahmeir Watson

It’s a king sized pillow, not a body pillow. Surely Colin just wasn’t aware of that category of pillow. Shorter than a body, longer than a standard.

“Unanimity” is the new “In de benninging”

I swear I'm about to fill out an exit survey if we don't stop measuring dog years in 9/11's Edit: you won be back over with the fact that Micah's name on Reddit is "cockringking"... I'm literally dying over here

Jamie Collyer

I've never heard of stealth camping until literally the day before I listened to this episode, and then we get a full discussion on it. Damn synergy 🤣

Cun

Holy shit the first hour of this episode is fully unhinged. Haven't laughed along this hard in a while.
