Totally did not expect MrHappy to join this week. I love his FFXIV coverage. Can't wait to hear the whole show!

The Rose Experience

Playing Wu Kong right now and it’s beautiful, really good game so far, but it has its feet in 2 action genres. It wants to be a traditional, fast paced action game, but still have some of the Soulslike trappings that bog it down. Black Myth would have been far better off picking one style to embrace instead of trying to do both, in my opinion the former option.

Dakota Brown

FINALLY SOMEONE TALKING ABOUT ANOTHER CRAB’S TREASURE!!! Thank you Gene!

I still don't know what this game is, is it a boss rush game or more open world? Haven't been able to listen to the episode yet

Yeti ATL

I’m playing space marine 1 on the ROG before 2 comes out

GaminGoob

Gene: "You can actually build a 'master's stand' and have a like a house-pal.... yea you know maybe I should go back to it" LMAO

Brandon Tyler

Never heard of him before the podcast , but love the guest

Zeke

working my way through Arcadion savage right now and didn’t read the description before listening, wow lmao awesome surprise guest!

Evan

Good show, gents. Always a pleasure to see Gene on the show.

Monty Pearson

this was a fantastic episode! never heard of MrHappy before, but he was a pleasure to listen too. you 3 really gelled nicely.

Lunar Tear

Shout out to Gene shouting out DMC 5. Its an absolutely EXCEPTIONAL video game.

oh that pesky dna

Surprised Gene didn’t like Wu Kong. First semi-negative review I’ve heard.

Arran Barnes

Thanks Gene for the info on Wu Kong, doesn't sound like it's worth the price for me! Definitely saved me some money 😁

If I was you I would look at some other reviews before you count this game out. I think it's way better than what Gene said. And he left out a lot of the positives.

AllTooEasy_

Interested but I’m going to wait on Black Myth. Too busy enjoying Concord baby!

Michael Mashpotato

There is a Temple of Taint in Black Myth Wukong so it’s a 10/10 for me.

Philip Andersen

I’m not a fan of Souls games in general other than Bloodborne, but it seems like Wukong is more fitting to me than hardcore souls fans. Some even calling it not a souls like.

The Real HB

Mrhappy hype. Hope we can see Brad on SotR.

Breno Bezerra Bluhm

Gene being great friends with Hasan Piker is such a funny fact. My favorite gaming journalist 🤝 My favorite political streamer

Yalingo

This episode should be called Gene and MrHappy become best friends!

Joe C

As a FFXIV obsessed player who is also working through Arcadion savage, this was such a nice surprise. Love MrHappy. <3

Luke Oliveto

Mario Kart 8 is easily the 2014 GOTY. Dark Souls 2 has aged like milk meanwhile MK8 has aged like a fine wine

Tyrone Yhip

Brad you're outta yo mf mind saying FF16 blows Dmc 5 out the water. Nothing comes to DMC 5, it's the best at what it does.

Bailey Callis

Not gonna lie. Saying Erdtree is too easy is the most obnoxious thing ever.

Brannon H

My possible hot take is I think the GameCube controller is a bottom tier controller. It's fine for certain games but it would be utter trash for games like Elden Ring, FF7Rebirth, God of War Ragnarok, or any shooter.

Bailey Callis

Couldn't possibly disagree more with Happys take on Kojima.

Josh Lucas

Micah thank you for bringing up that FFVII commercial Omfg. Months ago I was at the bar and saw Aerith on the TV and was like wtf. My buddy told me it was a suicide awareness thing and I googled it and couldn’t find anything lol. I’m glad to know it really does exist
