Jaffe will be Jaffe. Honestly, I’m far more disappointed Colin didn’t have someone more conservative than himself and his liberal compatriots on the dedicated political episodes. Gene is part of the DC machine, Jaffe may be Cenk Uygur’s long lost brother, and I’m still unsure if Chris is aware the US is made up of more states than California and New York.

When GDPR first came in it was an awful ballache to implement everything for it. Still is but one good thing came of it. 90% of marketing and notification emails require an unsubscribe link. So create a filter for the word "unsubscribe" ignoring case to send them to junk and it will catch most of them. You still have to look through the folder every now and then but it works quite well.

I got that email about the PS surveys but couldn’t do anything because the link they gave goes to a page that isn’t certified. Kinda fishy. Not surprised the Pro would launch without the hard drive but it’s still annoying having to spend an extra $80+.

It's funny, whenever Jaffe pops off hes given all benifit of the doubt, nuance and understanding. Meanwhile the audience has to walk on eggshells and anything other than simping makes us close minded bigots with room temp IQ. I don't want Jaffe policed, but I also don't want to hear a host crying about one flippant comment in the thread. We all make offhand jokes occasionally.

Once all games are digital I am out. As soon as it's set in stone and becomes the norm I'm a permanent patient/retro gamer. I just can't trust companies with thousands of dollars worth of purchases being tied to a flimsy account that can be snapped out of existence. I'll be in the minority but my backlog will be massive.

If you want the podcasts to go PG, maybe you should take your ears elsewhere. There have been dozens of things said on the various podcasts that have been waaaaay worse than a little comment by Jaffe. Corrupted saves and game breaking progression blocks are the worst. I picked up Tales of Kenzera Zau when it came out on PSN and reached a section requiring the gathering of three items. The game refused to acknowledge I retrieved these items but also never repopulated these items. While only 5 hours in, it definitely soured the taste and I moved on to a different game rather than retrace my steps. Just a turn off.

I'm one of the rare people who won't get the PS5 pro now that it's most likely digital only. I buy most of my games physically and now I will have to buy an extra attachment just to play those games. This console will probably be close to 700 dollars and with a CD drive attachment it will be closer to 800 dollars. No thanks.

As an enormous Queen fan I feel like I have to come out and say Bohemian Rhapsody sucks turbo ass! The lyrics are nonsense, The whole opera part of that song is gimmicky (they never even played that part live), and it wasn't even a hit when it came out. Colin thinks there are a variety of viewpoints on his shows and I feel that he is greatly mistaken. The problem is that all of the outspoken members on LSM are mainstream progressives who are given a lot of airtime to expound upon their views. I'm not saying they shouldn't. The more conservative members I would venture to say are Ben and Dustin, however, they are intelligently quiet about the majority of their thoughts and beliefs because they don't want to delve deeply into the political cesspool. Colin can't fill that void because many of his views aren't compatible with many right leaning listeners. Therefore the issue is that one side is constantly bombarding their beliefs on listeners while the other side has no one to stick up for them in the digital ecosystem we call LSM. Imagine if the roles were reversed. I think people are just yearning for a sense of fairness in this tension filled election season.

It's been widely understood that any political content is heavily left leaning because Colin is the only voice of anything close to conservatism and even at that I wouldn't consider him such. But are we really thinking that calling any side "fucking assholes" is okay? I get Colin doesn't want to limit speech he's a big proponent of the 1st amendment and I respect that but this is entertainment and not the news. If you genuinely call what is more than likely half if not more than half of your audience "fucking assholes" do you think they'll keep paying? I do not believe everyone will up and leave all at once but if we're just going to start calling people names for their beliefs I certainly don't want to stick around. Large part of why I left kinda funny, everyone's a "best friend" unless you vote for Donald Trump. Who gives a fuck? Not saying Jaffe needs to be taken off the shows or even be limited to what he can say because we also don't need any type of echo chamber situation but c'mon man, generalizing an entire party is the first step to dehumanizing them and then hating people for what they believe, is that really the best route?

The fact that people want to make this community more conservative....it's already the most conservative big gaming podcast group. Colin is the one constantly talking politics and he is pretty conservative, Ben is, Dustin is, hell even Gene is from a lot of what I can tell. The other guys rarely, if ever, comment on politics until they are asked. Chris will say a random offhand comment if prodded. I constantly disagree with political things said on every show lol I get called slurs in the comments. How conservative do you guys want this place? I believe the issue with Jaffe is that he struggles to articulate his thoughts intelligently. While others can make jokes or say something outrageous and still back it up with intellect, Jaffe lacks this ability. This is why people are growing tired of him. His third-grade shock humor act becomes tiresome quickly, and people realize he lacks substance.

Once again, wokeism DID kill Concord. Wokeism is why Concord looks the way it looks, and the way it looks is what killed it. Therefore, wokeism killed Concord. If we can all agree the terrible characters were one of the primary reasons for Concords failure, and that they are one of the biggest bunch of OBVIOUS dei/sweet baby focus grouped rosters in the hero shooter space, it stands to reason that it was ‘wokeism’ that was responsible for peoples disconnect with making characters that NOBODY wants to play with.
