Electric Eyes Are Everywhere | Sacred Symbols, Episode 327

Last week, many tried -- and most failed -- to get their hands on the extremely limited PlayStation 5 Pro 30th Anniversary Edition, of which only 12,000-ish units were made. But the crush on PlayStation Direct for regular Pro units and other 30th anniversary accoutrements all at the same time led to a lot of disappointment. What did each of us come out of the scuffle with, and how do we think Sony can better manage special events like this, where loyalty and engagement should matter a whole lot more than random queue placement. Plus: PSN goes down for a surprising amount of time, HBO's second season of The Last of Us gets a trailer, something seems up between Sony and Square Enix, Dragon Quest's creator isn't too happy about censorship, and more. Then: Listener inquiries. With some distance now established, what are our overarching thoughts on the PlayStation Portable? Where is Capcom's Pragmata hiding, and will it ever come out? Are in-game Photo Modes actually popular? Can we contain our laughter at watching someone playing Heavy Rain without doing any of the QTEs? Follow the hosts! You guys should do a live show in Mexico and make Mexico pay for it.

I skipped ahead to the DQ3 stuff. I'm not sure that this is a woke or right wing prudish thing. I'm inclined to go with corpo grinding off the ecchi edges to secure an all ages rating. A surprising amount of parents still look at that stuff.

If Movieguy34 sees this, hit me up please

The Five Guys discussion made me sad, but because it reminded me that my town's Five Guys closed down.

You guys gotta try fast food in Puerto Rico if you ever got the chance. Burguer King in PR is out of this world.

Bill Clinton for the first topic was not on my bingo card.

Kick me kite me, don't you Black or White me

I think Chris needs to see what was censored in Xenoblade X. I think he'd be on board with that one. He might've forgotten there's a certain part of Japanese nerd culture that's pretty gross.

lmfao the bugsnax theme song in H&M is funny but it’s not that weird, kero kero bonito is a pretty popular band

or Xenosaga Ep 1 (hey, same developers, what a coincidence) where they apparently had a scene that was *extremely* PDF-file coded. Reading about that made me say "okay, yeah, I think I'm all right with a little bit of editing here." I think censorship is wrong much of the time, but there ARE limits.
