Dragon Age: The Veilguard Review Discussion & Spoilercast | Sacred Symbols+, Episode 421

Friends, we gather once more for a discussion of the ages! Oh, pardon me, I mean DRAGON AGES. Joining me (Matty) for this highly anticipated discussion is none other than Gene Park and Hoeg Law. What happens when a lifelong BioWare stan clashes with two fine gentlemen who ended up on the positive side of this otherwise controversial game? A three hour marathon of debates on all things across the game's myriad of "choices," its gameplay structure, and what an ideal Veilguard even looks like in our eyes. More importantly, we get into the future of this once esteemed developer and assess what future they have, if any, as a team within the EA stable.

I’ll have to save this for later, 30 hours in and don’t even have all the companions yet

Ugh. I would have had some much about which to write in for this topic. Truly a devastatingly disappointing game.

Some of the cringe, poorly written dialogue that I've seen kept me away from this one.

yes I asked for this exactly and will now enjoy, though I'm not done yet I'm cleaning up all the side missions before embarking on the ending!

Awesome a spoilercast. Now I can finally figure out what to do about the ancient elven gods Elgar'nan and Ghilan'nain. Was anyone else worried about Elgar'nan and Ghilan'nain? I know I certainly was worried about Elgar'nan and Ghilan'nain.

Having not played the game I did think at first that it was the usual suspects complaining about the game being woke on right wing channels not talking about here. But it was nice to see Isla from easy allies a trans female saying the exact same thing about the awful dialogue. So will only play it when it comes to PlayStation plus.

I'm down on the game after playing Inquistion but it's nice to hear thoughts on the controverial game.

And the Veilguard, boys and girls, learned the most important lesson of all. That the real evil was the enemies you didn't meet along the way.
