Totally relate to Matty on stepping out to the silence of snow outside it is the best especially when you are home for the day playing games!

Harry bhallzonu

Late evening silence from the snow is the closest thing to living in a fantasy world. It’s serene.

Excited as shitfuck for KCD 2. Absolutely loved the first game, traveled 13 miles in the deadass of winter February of that year when it came out, just to buy it off this guy. When I finally came home from the journey and started playing, it was so worth it, just blew my damn mind. To this day I still never played anything like it.

Matty is right, buying a used/refurbished Herman Miller is the move. I bought my remastered Herman Miller Aeron used from Craigslist over 2 years ago and it's one of the best investments I ever made.

David Robinson

Is there an issue with the RSS feed again?

Kenneth Oms

Love shoveling snow in the quiet of night. Sometimes you put on a little podcast too.

C

On premium buying, I splashed on OLED LG C4 this week, absolutely game changing.

Bogey

Brad I love ya, I was a big fan of you over at EZA as well and I mean this with no disrespect, but can you please start practicing reading these write ins out loud before recording the show? It would really really improve your reading of them

Matt Wiles

Interesting that you guys don’t seem super excited about KCD2. It’s my most anticipated game of the year. Hmm…

Dante B

Can someone please isolate Cog saying “That was during my Black Panther days” for use out of context later? Thanks.

Carlos Hernandez

Heard Another World and like a brain blast I remember Colin IGN review lol

Many people were soft on the Switch before it released. So I’m not putting much stock in the negativity around the Switch 2, especially considering the current climate in the industry.

Matty stand down and relax man, DK64 was one of the weaker 3d platformers. Banjo and Conker are better. Also Tropical Freeze is one of the best. Continue standing down. That is all.

lazer_josh

Daaaamn a donkey kong hot dog sound girthy

Garry

The worst part about PlayStation moving these teams over to live service games is the loss of staff. How many of these teams left as they joined teams hoping to work on single player games.

Johnny Lamotte

The best trip by far! Thanks for another great summon sign episode

Tyler Stafford

Great episode with the Dukes, as always.

Diddy’s Dong Quest

To Cog: the only reason I would argue against an achievements system for Nintendo is because I’ve seen one of my friends go from genuinely loving games to only playing for achievements. Colin is a perfect example, he’s admitted multiple times that he would stop gaming if PlayStation ended trophies. But I understand that it’s not most people who obsess like that.

Kris Guzman

Matty I live in CT so I feel you on that snow lol plus the temp I have been living in ct all my life and I never have anybody cool living in this part of the country so it’s very cool that you live down here on this part. I don’t know if you’ve always lived here, but this is freaking awesome Knowing that there’s someone in my own state that I listen to every week.

Bartevious

Lmao, funny to me I messaged Matty about getting an Herman Miller not too long ago.

Jacob Lesperance

I can't pretend to care about all the games Sony has canceled, when I never wanted live service to begin with. And they have done an excellent job of filling those gaps with 2nd and 3rd party exclusives. At the end of the day all o care is that they provided me games to play. They could stop making games for 10 years and I'd never catch up as is. That being said it's no doubt they wasted tons of time on these live service games. But also, the reality is they are literally doing better than ever financially. Both things can be true.

Glen Yelenovic

Nothing like the crunch of snow and the dim glow of the snowy night

Glen Yelenovic

Certainly need to be careful. My wife’s cousin had a heart attack and died while shoveling snow

Trill Spencer

Great show as usual guys but I have to issue a stand down to Matty and to pretty much all of LSM on the topic of the cancelled Last of Us live service game. I have heard numerous hosts on the network attribute the cancellation to Sony management or even Bungie’s influence. The fact is, Naughty Dog made an official statement about this on their blog. They explained that they weren’t prepared to sacrifice future projects for the sake of supporting a live service game long-term, and that it was a studio decision to cancel the game. That’s the reason why it was cancelled!

This gameplay is worst then bad gameplay. It does e eveything it can to send you away to another game. Who the hell wants realistic sword play? Who wants to learn to read in video games? No actual sane person wants to play this. If they just added a normal fighting experience it would be brilliant.
