Oblivion Remaster Is HERE - Did It Deliver?! | Defining Duke, Episode 225

It's a pretty unique week for Defining Duke listeners. It's practically no news and all games. Oblivion Remaster truly was shadowdropped. That just happens to be the same week that a bonafide GOTY contender in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 arrives. Oh, we also have Last Defense Academy and Blue Prince to add to that bunch and that's just the last couple of weeks! Joining us to comb through this week and much more is Ebontis, co-host of The Last Word and a variety based content creator. oblivion performance is a$$

Not a fan of the overall color pallete if this remake and the performance is pretty bad. I hope they add a classic color filter that looks closer to the original modders have already fixed this on pc and it looks much better imo. Also suprised they shadow dropped this while it still has performance issues

I was very impressed. It's such a fine line to walk honoring the character models and design and overall feel and they actually pulled it off perfectly. The grading is different and it's very obvious in side by side comparisons, but I wasn't bothered by it when actually just playing the game. Stunning world. Performance is fine for me on Series X, other than some stutters when reloading. Very happy with this release so far

Clair Obscur is Lost Odyssey’s spiritual successor.

Great show. Ebontis don't feel bad I have never touched a BGS game either. Between WoW, multiplayer, and co op games. Those were the priority over a lot of games.
