Putting TDM in Gears Ultimate broke all the maps in multiplayer. It’s still a fun mode for shotgun practice but they were basically the first franchise to successfully do no-respawns with spectating in Gears 1 in 06. Hopefully they right this wrong and make Execution THE mode to be playing. So pumped for this to be getting a shot in the arm

The weird thing about how we all know PS3 was a dark time for JRPGs, we rarely actually go into details as to how bad it was. There were some good games in there, but the amount of trash we got peddled on us by NIS America was criminal. Idea Factory should have never been allowed to take off either, imho.

An Even Taller Brad

I beg no hoeg for the expedition 33 spoilercast - Brad Matty Cog Dustin plz

Diddy’s Lube Guy

I’m begging Brad to read listener inquiries aloud to himself at least once before the show.

BG3 was my intro into turn based. Followed that with Sea of Stars and Metaphor. I never completed any of those although I liked them a lot. Expedition is perfect. Think I may somewhat mainline it so I can go full explorer mode in NG+

Will Hahn

How was Chris not on this? Lol

Hey guys, really enjoyed the episode. Only one thing popped up in my mind - and don’t take this the wrong way - in that I found it surprising you hadn’t seen any Arc Raiders videos, Brad. I have a full time job, play games but do seem to catch a lot of YouTube videos of brand new games or Alphas/Betas. You play and talk about games for a living 😉 I would’ve thought you’d watch YT of stuff like this in your other time away from gaming, like us nerds do! I’d just love to hear your actual thoughts on Arc, based on what you’ve seen, and it was slightly disappointing to hear that you’d not seen anything of it. Again, not being a dick, you’re a top host, I’ve been paying for years and will continue to do so. Loved the episode.

Colin’s And all the rest counter

Cog i suggest to give gamingtech channel on YouTube a go for OLED suggestions for games. He is amazing and explains and provides the best hdr settings for games!

Is Hoeg like, treble boosted or something in this episode? It felt like he was yelling into the microphone the entire episode. Especially bad when he would raise his voice a bit to emphasize something.

NeO JD

Why?

Nobody else rocks with Sciel? That dark attack with high damage and multiple hits comes in clutch.

An Even Taller Brad

He interrupts incessantly and responds to questions that aren't directed to him.

Mama Micah

I just unlocked her and MAAAAAN I've been doing the sequence of attacks that then gives you a 50% damage boost for two turns. It's incredible. -Micah

The Incredible Shulk

I'm curious about Hoeg's opinion on Expedition it's story. Did it never quite click for him, or was it just the second half? I'm about half way through Act 2, and for me, the story is on its way to being an all time great. The intro alone tells a better, more emotional story than 99% of all the games out there. Also, I dont know what you guys are talking about with the faces not looking AAA. On the Pro, the faces are stunning, and the hair is really quite good, too (not quite Dragon Age level, to be fair. That game stu know, but the hair was top notch)

Anyone having issues with their episode image coming through in black and white? I have the RSS feed that I use in a separate podcast app. Lol I feel crazy but it's been mostly this week. Great episode as always!

E_DOUBLE

Ive been having issues with not all the episodes loading via RSS on YT Music app. Just recently started

E_DOUBLE

Are you using YT music? I'm having the same issues with the black and white and multiple rss feeds are missing episodes

Adam

I'm actually using podcast addict. Therd must be an issue with the RSS feed images/podcasts if we are using separate apps but having same issues!
