I was so excited for Dispatch after the announcement trailer but I just couldn't get passed the cringy millennial writing. I'll probably pick it up when it goes on sale for three dollars and try again, but it was just so grating

Micah as someone who’s always hated talking on mic in games, I gotta say I’ve been fucking loving the interactions in Arc Raiders. I really recommend giving it a try. I have zero gaming friends so im just queuing up solo and interacting with strangers and its been a blast I do understand though that as a woman you might have a different experience. So I get your reservations. But id say give it a shot Also as someone who hates wearing headphones, the dualsense mic is surprisingly good in this game. Havent had any echoing or people complaining. I recorded myself to make sure it sounds okay to not piss people off.

Love Chris and Micah together on shows, underrated Last Stand duo P.S. Arkham Origins on a modern PC is great and plays smooth as butter, also absurdly cheap a lot of the time

Micah, Not that you should have to do this, people should just not be ass holes, but ARC Raiders has an AI voice option that’ll let you choose between several male and female voices. I let my daughter create my character and she chose a woman for me, I felt it was weird having my voice come from that character so I changed it. I can’t say how it sounds for others, but I know all of the videos I’ve seen where people were using it the change sounded great, so I assume it’s just as good. Just a thought from someone who is loving the game, but generally hates multiplayer games and NEVER uses a mic. I’m going in with the mic on every game looking forward to the interactions I’ll have.
