Hello Brad 🙂 I feel there are more pressing issues with Prime 4 from a foundational level. The bike and open world are a façade, an illusion of ambition. The series requires a gameplay overhaul. The combat is unsatisfying, enemy respawning is repetitive and the backtracking is tiring. These archaic and lethargic design choices weigh heavy on the overall experience. In a world where taking out hostile life forms in Returnal’s atmospheric and satisfying combat loop feels great and powerful and interacting with realtime physics based environments in Half Life 2 (2004) I personally feel Prime 4 lacks any real ambition to push past the well worn wrapping we’ve experienced many times over. How about some ragdoll physics to go with Prime. Please don’t be mad. Speaking from the gut. Much love to all.

This notion that everyone being negative about Metroid Prime 4 are being whiny babies or they’re doing it for clicks and engagement is getting really tiresome. Especially from people that haven’t even finished the game. I mean by all means share your positive thoughts on the game so far, I was in the same boat was loving the game in the first half. But it really fell off on the second half for me. But to just label all the critics Nintendo haters like that one write in said is kinda lame

Damn Micah we’re in the same backlog boat! I’m currently on FFVII Rebirth and my backlog is Metaphor, FFXVI, and many other huge games. Lol. I’ve already purchased them and just need to catch up! This year I’ve done what Colin always talks about and actually abstained from purchasing any PlayStation games in 2025 at all to play catch up on my backlog and I’m still drowning haha

The narrative that anyone with negative opinions about games are grifters is getting old. I played Prime Remastered when it came out and absolutely loved it, but havent played 2 or 3. Prime 4 is a slow, boring game with many bad design issues. The bike isnt a cool upgrade if its only used to force you to drive through an empty desert every half hour..

Just a FYI about tires in the winter, you don’t need studded snow tires, but a decent set of snow/winter tires should be more than enough to get around safely. If you get them put on a cheap set of rims you can even throw them on yourself, when the weather turns.

Yo. The metroid prime 4 hate needs to chill. Skill up ain't that good of a reviewer anyway. All ill say is prime 1 is a classic and we're not gonna strike lightning twice and as for the characters and dialog, look this szhit don't sell good. You want younger ppl playing and becoming fans u gotta make it somewhat tolerable and nudge the player towards the right direction. Kids aren't built like us ancient millennials I remember getting stuck on a game for months and not beating it. Now, they'll just move on. Competition is fucken fierce. Merry Christmas yall

Brad if you want a theater that seems to enforce the rules and gives a premium experience is the Alamo drafthouse. If one is close by then I would highly recommend it.

Almost everyone thinks Prime 4 is amazing the first half. It’s the second half where it falls off a cliff.
