Micah, consider yourself lucky you've never even seen a roach. Used to live in a place in the south that had a bad infestation and they are vile, evil creatures. I'd legit rather find a Huntsman spider in my house than a roach.

The VGA was an F for me. Audio not synced, nothing from Fable, Gears, Witcher, Steam machine, FROM, Forza, Judas, etc. Too much Muppets. And the last reveal was Concord 2.

On Bananza being a family game, it has one of Nintendo’s “little brother” co-op modes that are great for young kids. I played through the entire game with my 5-year-old daughter, with her controlling Pauline and shooting out her vocal blasts (making the game sort of a rail shooter for that 2nd player). We both loved it!

Xbox not being there might be from criticism last time where people were upset they showed their stuff at TGA and then left their own presser weaker for it. Witcher is far off. Steam isn’t happening. They don’t need Geoff.

I thought the game awards were fine this year. Strong start, meh ending. Was also fun watching the live stream with “The boys”

I disagree with that Trails write in. The ending is what makes the game special and makes you instantly want to play the 2nd. And the 2nd is AMAZING

Agreed. The ending is what indicates to players that while the scope of the game seems small potatoes at first, there is far more than meets the eye to what's going in.

It’s hard to not get offended by non-kid people talking about kids until you remember that was you before having kids. You can’t know what it’s like until you’re on the other side. I will say that dogs are a minuscule responsibility compared to kids but a beneficial warm up.

TLOU2's ending baffling gamers is a great litmus test for taste and nuance in thought, as pretentious as that sounds. "Dwuhh so what was the point of playing the game?!". Man, I just can't figure it out either!
