It's the Todd Howard show this week! In a mega interview, we have plenty of juicy information to pick through. How are things going with Elder Scrolls VI and what's the direction for that game? What's going on with Creation Engine 3? Are there any new Fallout games enroute? How are things hanging after the TV show? The questions are many, but the answers are far more tantalizing!

Silent Hood 🤣

Matty I think you are doing too much. This, plus your channels and retro rebound plus your game and a wife? It almost borders in annoying, but you do you of course. I mean it with love btw “Never half ass two things. Whole ass one thing”

Buddah loves Icecream

Red Rising is awesome. It definitely has its ups and downs, but in my opinion, it’s peak sci-fi opera. I started the series after the first five books were already out, and I was so in that I reread everything when the sixth book came out. I’ll definitely do the same when the 7th comes out. Sevro is the GOAT. Hail Reaper!!!!

Borders in annoying? You're like those annoying guys who cry Sacred is too long, no one is forcing you to watch all his content. I mean it with love btw. Matty if you're reading, keep up the good work if you aren't burning yourself out. Slop channel is great, main channel is great, Duke is great.

A Hind D

Matty spitting facts on the convo about Bethesda and what ES6 needs to be. Like cmon man enough of the radiant crap. Gimmie 300 hours so I can replay I don’t want to spend 10000000 hours in a world. Make my fricking choices matter dammit

Zachary

Tc Carson cog lol. Tc Collin’s 🤣

The Blood of Dawn French

I think he is worried about Matty burning out, not too much content. Relax warrior.

Truth on kbm vs controller for fps. I played the bf6 beta on ps5 and pc and my deciding factor for what system I would play it on was my k/d being vastly lower on console with controller.

BigDumbStupidIdiot

I have no idea why BGS hasn't made a comfy, RPG life-sim. Take their wack ass settlement system and make an entire game out of it. Easy several million seller. Oh ya, BGS doesn't farm out its IP. It's going be to close to 20 years between Elder Scrolls drops.

MambaForever

“Ethan Winters is just a tank somehow” Brother, we do know how. 👀

Big Devin Energy

“We ain’t gooning off Ada?” Hahahaha killed me Cog.

Pianopower

Damn touched a nerve and I wasn’t even talking about you. I actually was trying to be nice, unlike you. Keep up being an asshole tho, it’s entertaining

Pianopower

Straight up worried. English is not my first language, so maybe it came out differently?

Mr. Scott If You're Nasty

I think he has said he still sleeps in pretty late, and he doesn't have kids yet. LoL don't worry about him. Hes not even close to the breaking point.

Pianopower

It’s impressive honestly

Silent Hill F wasnt internally made by Konami. The team worked on some of the Resident Evil multi-player games

Another solid ep gang. #CreativeDDetours. Don’t crash out Matty. 😄

Make America Grodd Again

Listening to this episode and the Xbox Exec shakeup news drops lmaoooo insane

Mr. Scott If You're Nasty

I'm glad people give the developers hell for not making games for other platforms. That's a great way for consumers to speak directly to the consumer. It's not consumer friendly behavior. #CreativeDDetours

Salutations Dukes, I come to you in the wake of the Xbox leadership shakeup news with what is likely an unpopular opinion. People will no doubt be speculating over the next couple months how things might change for better or worse. I am usually just along for the ride and stay out of the drama, but this time there is one thing I strongly hope Xbox does not pivot away from now, and that is their move away from exclusivity and the walled garden ecosystem. I have always thought that, while a good business model for making money, the walled garden dominant industry has always hampered the potential growth and innovation of hardware and has created an insurmountable barrier to entry for any other company wanting to enter the industry to create more competition. Plus, I like the idea of being able to purchase the hardware that works best for me without needing to worry about not having access to certain games that are exclusive to a specific device, a vision that could become a reality if things like the Steam Machine and Microsoft’s next rumored console end up gaining traction. Since the idea to drop exclusives was probably more a Microsoft decision rather than a Phil Spencer one, I’m sure I have nothing to worry about, but if we assume nothing is off the table I am curious what your guys’ thoughts are on the possibility of Asha Sharma bringing back exclusives or some form of walled-garden restrictions for their ecosystem. As much as I personally would dislike it, could it actually make Xbox contenders on the business side of things again? Or is it too late and nobody would care? Thanks Dukes. Have a, Satya finally got his true AI lapdog to head Xbox, kind of day.

Greetings Cog train & MrMattyReads. First time writing in, longtime viewer of Matty pre Fallout 4 days & every Monday listener of DD. With the gamepass pick of the week being dropped, I was thinking that a "deal or steal of the week" could be fun. Any platform, a game bundle, piece of gaming hardware or just a game that you guys notice that's on sale. Hope you both have a great end of your February. P.S looking "forward" to next weeks somber episode...
