Just a heads up for anyone interested in Crisol on base ps5, it seems to be 30 fps with no option for performance mode. The 30 fps doesn’t seem very stable from the little I played either. Not sure if it’s any better on the pro but I would steer clear if you’re on base ps5. I can tolerate a 30 fps game if it’s stable but this one was borderline unplayable for me personally, might have to do with it being in first person as well.

I’m with Brad on the Crisol difficulty. The game in the long run becomes boring because it presents essentially ZERO challenge at any point, even on hard. I died literally ONE time my entire run, and it was because I was practicing the knife parry system to see when I need to hit L1 for enemy attacks. This is a good example of a game that could really really benefit from a sequel. Really cool art style, cool meshing of Resident Evil and Bioshock design choices, and the blood weapon system is cool, but you can tell this is a studio’s first attempt

Not to be that guy, but this is a common misconception I hear a lot about SMT IV Apocalypse. It's not a re-release like Persona 5 Royal or 4 Golden. It's a new game that acts a sort of pseudo sequel to base IV starting about 3/4 of the way through the neutral route of that game. It's a new story and cast of characters, Apocalypse just takes place on the same map as the base game. The story in Apocalypse sucks ass imo, but the press turn combat system is the best its ever been in the series, and the atmosphere and sountrack are just as strong as the base game. Apocalypse is well worth playing for anyone interested in the series.

Jason, if you’re really into the musou vibe, the Kingdom anime is essentially that craziness in watchable form. There’s some rough 3D CG in the first season, but it just gets better and better with each season.
