Hello!
As you likely know, we (at Lillymo Games) are just about finishing up our seventh title, Saint Slayer: Spear of Sacrilege. And we're pleased to announce the game's release date!
Saint Slayer: Spear of Sacrilege will launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on April 20, 2026. It will cost $10 or your local equivalent.
While we're really proud of all of our games, we think there's something particularly special about Saint Slayer, our 8-bit NES-style action romp all about a corrupt Catholic priest, a retired soldier, and unholy chaos that erupts in the late-17th century Holy Roman Empire. 21 stages, local co-op, familiar companions, an in-game store, multiple endings, lots of lore, Trophies and Achievements, and so on await. But at its core, Saint Slayer is all about gameplay and action, a loving ode for fans of the likes of Castlevania, Faxanadu, Duck Tales, Zelda 2, and more. Old-schoolers are truly in for a treat. I'm so proud of the team; we've made something pretty dope, if I do say so myself!
To answer some common questions:
1.) While you can see Saint Slayer on Steam as we speak (and you can play the demo there), it has yet to be ingested into any other storefront. Once we enter and pass certification on the various platforms, it will begin to appear for you to wishlist. In the meantime, we'd appreciate you wishlisting the game on Steam, should you be interested in playing there!
2.) Our intention is to do a limited physical run of Saint Slayer on PlayStation 5, with Last Stand acting as co-publisher with EastAsiaSoft and LSM as funder and distributor (just as we did with Super Perils of Baking and Habroxia). Indeed, I already have Dagan onboard to do the box art, instruction manual, inserts, and so on. However, there are no solidified manufacturing plans as of yet, and the ball won't be rolling there until we've gone gold, fully passed certification, and deploy any needed patches. I don't even want to put a timeline on it; it might not even be ready to sell this calendar year when all is said and done (though I hope that's not the case). There will be no physical runs for Switch (too high of a minimum publishing threshold), Xbox (very little demand), or PS4 (we'd rather just be on PS5).
Okay, I think that's about it. Thank you for your support! -Colin
