Gents! If my math is right you’ll be recording this around the same time Marathon goes live. Hit me with those last minute gut checks? Colin and Dustin did you manage to get any time in the server slam? If so did you attempt to snipe an enemy player with an SMG then cry about the boring the game was? Or did you instead choose to mow down legions of enemy runners with the double barrel shotgun like Arachne intended? Either way do you think Bungie has done enough to sway the masses and guarantee themselves long term success? I’m not talking about Arc Raiders levels of success but a more modest level that will mean a steady player base than can generate healthy levels of revenue for at least a few years. What say you? Thanks for endless hours of entertainment you all provide. Keep milking those tics!

Hey SS Crew, This one’s for Colin (and technically Dustin) - I have absolutely loved the MoriartyxJaffe streams, so I’m writing in to ask what it would take to make these a weekly thing. Is there a metric we need to meet such as a consistent number of views for a certain number of weeks? Is it a matter of bullying the people who beg for gaming streams until they shut up? Or do we simply just need to continue commenting on the weekly threads until you make it official? Tell us what to do and we’ll make it happen! Thanks for the content as always.

Is it just me or does Crimson Desert look like they just tried to toss every “cool” game mechanic into one game and hope it’s good? It doesn’t seem to focus enough one any one mechanic to stand out. The recent previews are showing convoluted puzzles, shallow quest structure, odd amalgamation of styles, and complicated nonsensical menus. Not to mention the zero PS5 footage (cough Cyberpunk). Thoughts? Cheers!

Greetings Sacred men, This is for Colin, though the rest may chime in as well. On Punching Up this week, Micah mentioned not wanting her Pokemon to evolve for cuteness reasons and went as far to resort to using puberty blockers on them. Could you issue her a stand down and just remind her that Everstones exist? Enjoy your day and thank you for your donation.

Hey Colin! I watched the stream of you playing Metal Eden and was curious if you’ve heard of RoboQuest and/or Deadzone Rogue? I think they’d make great option for Sacred Streaming and are somewhat similar to Metal Eden! I know you say that the gameplay streams don’t do as well as the Jaffe streams but I think using your platform to bring attention to lesser known games is awesome! Last game I’ll bring up only because it was just released this week is Minishoot’ Adventures! Thanks for the great podcast and all the laughs!

Greetings, boys. I come bearing a game recommendation... Have any of you tried Minishoot' Adventures? Think if Galaxian, Ikaruga, and Zelda had a beautiful lovechild that took the best qualities of all three games. Arcade-y gameplay, difficult dungeons and bosses, and an overworld littered with secrets. I really wish folks would pay attention to the indie scene a hell of a lot more as there are too many gems like this being ignored. Where are all the games indeed, Colin.

Good afternoon CDC, As a longtime fan, I just want to thank you guys for making me genuinely laugh for the first time in a while. 2026 has been a truly heartbreaking year for me. Sadly, I can’t even blame my relationship problems on the podcast and join the ranks of the "Sacred Symbols-caused" divorces. I can, however, tell you that I could barely stop laughing as you were describing the AA Allegheny Hogs baseball team and the caloric value of 100 chicken nuggets. I really appreciated the moments of laughter to keep my mind occupied. The longer the intro, the better, I say! You can count on a team shirt purchase from me.

Good day to you, kind slurs. This is by far my favorite gaming podcast, and I just wanted to write in to thank you for all the laughs, insight, and information. I also wanted to send a quick "congrats" on the upcoming launch of the 'Allegheny Hogs' product line. I preordered as soon as I could and am excited for the possibility of future Hog-wear. Be well, comrades. I will now hang Michael Jackson's grandbaby out of a hotel balcony window, and of course, listen.

Hello CDC, Colin, you have long posited that Sony’s primary strategic directive must be the aggregation of robust intellectual property. Given the current volatility regarding PlayStation’s exclusivity roadmap, and the apparent need to diversify beyond the standard "Sony style" third-person action game—does acquiring a publisher like Square Enix not represent the ideal remedy? Such a move would seemingly solve two problems at once: it bolsters their portfolio with a genre they currently lack, and it secures a treasure trove of legacy IP that carries immense weight both globally and domestically in Japan. I would love to hear the boys' thoughts on whether this specific consolidation makes sense? Love from India!

Howdy boys, My dreams are finally coming true. After a brief hiatus in and out of rehab for five years, I can confirm I'll be suiting up this spring for the fifth most prestigious single-A club around, the Allegheny Hogs. My 40 year-old arm is rested and ready to sling all over every set of fun bags that crosses our path. We're going to run through every milk mommy from here to the Mississippi. Every man knows with a good pair of cantaloupes in your face, you can conquer the world. Ratchet down those chest hammocks boys. Spring ball is right around the corner and daddy needs a handful of heavies. Let 'em oink. The Motorboat Maniac, Hog Johnson
