Great news about Lock!

Chase Day

I heard classic hoeg rant. Had too turn my volume down just a little.

Hashim Barakat

I had my on Quartet since the kickstarter, unfortunately I am patiently waiting for the ps5 release. Day 1 for me.

Jason Rose

Nah, Mixtape is awesome and nails exactly what it’s going for.

The Incredible Shulk

I adored Mixtape. Tons of laugh out loud moments and some good music. Surprisingly emotional at times, too. I didnt grow up in the California suburbs, but so much of the game rang true for me. I also happened to love the characters! Yeah, they are pretentious, but that is part of the charm Once again, Hoeg played a completely different game than me.

Chris Morton

Hell yeah, give us a remaster of Koudelka

Michael Rogers

Hoeg being the voice of reason on Mix Tape. Preach brother. As someone who also grew up in the 90's, he matched my sentiment almost exactly. Nobody was like that.

Drew Lee

Midwest, California, and Dutch(sorry Simon if I’m wrong?) . Amazing. I’m a midwestern like Hoeg. Mixtape wasn’t for me. Give me V Crawler’s!

Buster Crabcakes

Colin would have to pay me five dollars to listen to this episode. See you next week Brad!

Haru Discourse

Glad to hear Hoeg is loving Quartet as much as I am! I was actually thinking of writing in about this game for the audience recommendation segment for this show lol. It’s an easy recommend for any fans of 16 bit era and/or Indie JRPGs.

Danio

Hoeg saying Eidos Montreal is no longer with us. 💀

Danio

It feels like it because they had bad news after bad news, layoffs, cancelled games etc, but somehow they are still hanging on.

sam croese

Having played mixtape, Hoeg sounds much more annoying.

NerfedNinja

Half the time I'm Hoeg. Half I'm Simon. Love the discussion on these episodes.

Pianopower

I mean yeah, if you’ve had a privileged life as a middle class person in a privileged country, then I can see how it resonates . That’s not most people tho

Tanner Brant

Great episode, I really like when Simon is on

John Kingston

Hoeg, we can hear you crystal clear bro. Dial it back a couple dB before you blow out my ears.

Danio

I turned it up

Lil Jimmy420

“If you relate to this character you might be a sociopath” had me internally laughing at work thank you for always being goated Hoeg

Xenomorph Moriarty

“These characters are unlikable sociopaths and I hope they die” lol Anyways, Mixtape was wonderful

Gary Clark

Hoeg was getting stuffed in lockers.

lazer_josh

I would have bet money hoeg liked Mixtape! I respect your opinion dude, i personally liked it. But I can understand the ick as well, its an acquired taste I feel likw

Tom Hannay

I think it's pretty dishonest of Hoeg to claim that people hate live service games "just out of hand". I have a robust and varied list of reasons I hate live service games going back over a decade. Stating we hold this position unthinkingly does little to bolster your own arguments.

Glen Yelenovic

Always a pleasure to hear Hoeg. I’m glad you called out Brad on calling Fig Newtons a cookie. My first thought was the commercials saying they are not a cookie

Ryan

Colin send Simon a new mic!!

NeO JD

Missed out.

NeO JD

Future FFR Part 3 group? Good chat gang.

Jason Rose

Most of the listeners of this show are from the West so yes, it resonates with a lot of the audience. Privilege, lol.

Jason Rose

You see Quartet and think of an RPG that came out last year, I hear Quartet and think SEGA Master System, we are not the same.
