Bonjour, Punchers! Yesterday, I celebrated my 31st birthday. I enjoyed a quiet day and smoked a chicken. However, I wanted to know some of y'all's favorite birthday gaming memories. I remember, for my 10th birthday, renting Super Monkey Ball for the GameCube. I don't remember much about the game, but I remember being really upset about having to wait to play it because my brother and my cousin were playing Resident Evil 4. Anyways, do the Punchers have any birthday gaming memories? I'll sign off for now and live with the fact that I am ever-so-closely looming toward the specter of death. Have a "turned 31 and all I have to show for it is back pain and a fucking skullet" kinda day!

Micah, from one wrestling fan from back in the day to another, can you give us your best Ric Flair “WOOOO!” impression? And I need you to really commit to it. I’m talking like you’re a limousine-riding, jet-flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin’-dealin’ son of a gun! Let’s hear it, Micah. WOOOOOO!

Hello Lady of the North and Dude of the West, This question is for Micah. What are your thoughts on the McDonald’s x Sanrio x Godzilla collab? Are you going to be buying Happy Meals in bulk as you try to collect all eight figurines, or are you not interested in this one? I’ll fantasize about a Mario Super Sluggers 2, and listen.

Yo yo yo, sup punchers?! I recently took a trip to Manhattan with some friends and went into a place called Barcade in the FIDI area. We had a pretty good time there! Aside from a pricey bar the place was stacked with arcade and pinball machines! We whipped Foot Clan ass in Ninja Turtles, got fortunes from Zoltar and of course played a ton of pin ball. But the highlight was this obscure Japanese arcade game called Cho Chabudai Gaeshi. In that game you have a physical table in front of you and you are presented with a few scenarios. You choose one (let's say a funeral with several people) and you make a scene by pounding on the table. When you build up enough meter you then wait tell elements in the scene line up just right and then you physically flip the table! You then get a score based on the chaos you've created. My question for you guys is, when was the last time you've been to an arcade? And what was the weirdest or coolest game you played?

What’s up PU crew? I hope I can convey this and I hope it makes sense. I swore off Call of Duty. I have been burned too many times. I have not bought the last two games and I said “never again.” But… there is something about this gaming coming to switch 2 that is really enticing. I have a PC where I would be able to run it on the top settings with a 4k monitor, I have a PS5 Pro… but the Switch version is calling me. Why is that? I will for sure try the open beta when it releases. But there is something about a game like this running on a Switch 2. Thank you all for everything you all do at LSM, and I’ll hang up and listen.

Hey Punchers this question is mostly for Brad. With yours and Micah’s hotdog discussion last week it got me wondering if you Mr Bradley have ever tried Dog Haus? There’s multiple locations in SoCal and I consider it an S-tier hotdog centered eatery.

Hey Glizzy Gulpers, With Pokémon's Worlds tournament starting on the 28th, I thought I would info dump a TLDR of a Famitsu article about Pokemon Champions (Link: https://x.com/rasenburst/status/2090293333604155869 ) Champions had 10 million downloads in its first 8 days (we hit over 20 million with the mobile release), June's monthly challenge had over 1.3 million participants and viewership of tournaments is up over 150%. Pokemon deserves to get flack but it's undeniable its turn-based battle system is dripping with sauce and depth that can only be fully enjoyed when playing another person. All I ask is to watch one best-of-three so you can see why the hardcore spend thousands of hours with these games. Have a great day!
