As an esteemed member of the Big Backs of America, I was wondering if y'all hate Wedge from Final Fantasy VII as much as I do? This is top of mind for me as I am actively replaying FFVII Remake. Wedge has done irreparable harm to my once-glorious community. This fat, inbred motherfucker cannot go two sentences without talking about having to "refuel." Like, bitch, we get it! You're fat! So am I! I don't constantly point out to others my need to refuel. I'm fucking glad Wedge dies. In closing, do the Punchers hate Wedge as much as I do?

Last week Micah mentioned going back and playing the Dave the Diver DLC. My question relates to the jungle DLC and if she has gotten through it. I loved the base game but the Jungle DLC seemed to add so much more content it got away of the fishing aspect and sushi restaurant. The fresh water biome was cool to explore and see the new fish but the dungeon crawly and turn based combat kinda lost me. All these new elements would have made a great new game instead of DLC. What are your overall thoughts on the DLC Micah?

Ahoy to the best podcast on LSM! Since both of you are huge fans of Lord of the Rings, I have a task for you. Come up with the LotR version of Glup Shitto. Not just a name, but a couple extra details like their race, where they show up, and any quirks of the character. Thanks for all you do! P.S. Micah, Eternal Sonata is one of my favorite RPGs, but if you are still in a LotR mood, put it on the backburner and absolutely roll into the Lego game, it’s a blast. Dear Brad and Micah, My life has been ruined by the two of you!!! Toe socks had been brought up a few times, which wasn’t a problem until now. A few weeks ago, I was helping my boss throw away some claims at work, but before that can be done, these claims need to be verified. My boss went to grab another manager and they went outside. While everything was being verified, I was just looking at the ground waiting, and I noticed this other manager was wearing toe socks…. But wait, I wouldn’t be able to see him wearing toe socks, that’s because he was wearing TOE SHOES!!! I only noticed because in my head I was like, “Oh, someone wears toe socks like Micah,” then realized it was shoes. I didn’t say anything until after clocking out and was sitting at a table with my friends (boss included) and pointed out he was wearing them. Of course, my boss didn’t notice them, and he proceeded to make jokes about me liking toes and feet, and now I must suffer from these jokes. I once even said, “I only noticed because of the podcast” (boss was the one who got me listening to all of LSM) and he then said, “Oh, so you’re into Micah’s and Brad's feet,” and I wanted to die. Also, anytime we see said manager, my boss either looks at me or says a joke. I can’t escape these jokes, but I like to think if I hadn’t listened to this podcast I may have never noticed the toe shoes or even given them a thought….. Brad, you’re more than welcome to put the whole blame on Micah.

What’s up ya’ll? Did any of you have the misfortune of trying the Call of Duty beta over the weekend? I was more hyped on this than I expected so I went in hoping to love it. HOLY SHIT WAS IT BAD. It looked like a mobile game stretched out to fit my monitor. Handheld looked slightly better but the Joy-Cons make it unplayable. I was hoping this game would look and run similarly to Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition, but it was Nothing of the sort. (I love New York reference) Bethesda is known for janky games and the quality of Fallout and Skyrim BLOW THIS OUT OF THE WATER. For context I booted up Resident Evil Revelations for the Switch one and it looked and played better. What the fuck happened here? Have a “is that an enemy or a mailbox I’m looking at” kind of day.

Hey Punchers, At the time of writing, I am mere hours away from receiving my AYN Thor (it says expected by 5pm.) If you’re not aware, the Thor is a dual-screen emulation handheld, and it’s been an incredibly popular item lately. My question is, do you think Nintendo is paying attention at all? Hey guys, this question is for Micah! I know you’re typically against buying games multiple times, but I was curious if you’ll make an exception to be able to play the game on Switch 2? The Switch 1 version of witcher 3 is hot garbage, but even with that you can upgrade to Witcher 3 Remastered for free on switch 2. So my questions are; 1. Is it appealing to play Witcher 3 Remastered on Switch 2, even though the Series X/PS5 version will almost certainly look and play better? 2. If you were to play on xbox would you try to remote play or just go play on the TV? 3. If not witcher 3, are there any remakes that would make you break your “never buy a game again” rule? Howdy everyone, I have a bone to pick with Nintendo and I want to see if either of you agree. Fortunes weave releases next month and there is almost nothing for it. No special switch hardware, no amiibos, no pro controller, not a damn thing. All we get is a collectors edition that launches with a map and shitty little art cards. What the hell? Can’t we have something cool? I get they aren’t doing systems but give us something right?

Gent and Lady! How are we feeling about Elden Ring on NS2? Reviews seem pretty mixed on the quality of the port, but Micah has nothing to compare this version to. How are you liking it? I am so glad Micah is interested in Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Remake! I've been burned by Ubisoft handling the franchise now though. Micah, I recommend getting the original game from GOG. Do not get the Steam HD version unless you are ready to mod the shit out of it lol. I hope you enjoy the game, however you experience it.

Hey there Punching Up gang! With all the moves being made surrounding physical games for both Playstation and Xbox, Playstation confirming ending physical disc support in January 2028 and Xbox's very likely move to follow suit as evidenced by the disc to digital transition program recently confirmed, I'm a little surprised with how quiet Nintendo has been. Given that Nintendo is still much more reliant on physical games compared to either of them, one would think Nintendo has just been presented with a really great opportunity to claw away some console gamers from Playstation and Xbox who care much more about physical games who may be looking for a new console that allows them continue purchasing them. Do you think Nintendo seems this as an opportunity to grow its player base, even if only by a bit? Do you think it will try to capitalize on Playstation and Xbox's shift to digital in any way or say anything that signals they want to welcome physical gamers? Anyways, just curious how you think Nintendo is viewing this situation and if their competitors' recent moves may prompt any changes on Nintendo's part. Have a great week!
