It's a mixed bag kind of week. From chicken wing and soda slander all the way down to the latest at CD Projekt Red, this episode covers a lot of ground if I do say so myself. A new Witcher game has been announced, PlayStation gobbles up another studio in a most organic way, and former Microsoft partner Moon Studios is in big trouble. Plus news on a Ubisoft showcase and the latest on the Xbox x Steam Deck integrations. There's plenty of discussion to go around, so get cozy and let's chat about the latest week in the world of video games. Early access to new episodes will go live every Thursday ad-free at 12:00 PM EST at http://www.Patreon.com/LastStandMedia . Episodes will be available publicly three days after. I'm not trying to cause these battles over Fallout and Elder Scrolls but I'm not gonna lie and say they aren't fun to watch! lol

I don't even own an Xbox and don't plan on getting one but I listen to every episode thank you guys for the quality entertainment and discussions. Perfect podcast to listen to while I play on PS5 which is kinda funny but cool at the same time 😘

The new Witcher medallion looks like a Jackal (a desert creature and the face of Anubis, Egyptian god of the underworld.)

Yeh but the world is still based on a fantasy medevil euro. Unless the stop following the books and make up new stuff

I remember Ciri picked up a Cat School medallion at some point (I think it was from Leo Bonhart) And the HUD element in Wild Hunt was a Cat medallion, while controlling her. I guess the game follows the Lady of Time and Space, then.

Cog, you are not alone in thinking that the dialogue in Shredders was cringey. It made me stop playing before finishing the tutorial. What were they thinking??

Y'all don't like Root Beer...time to take back all my likes. This is a tragedy to the highest level.

For me and acheiments i do like the xbox achievements. But i do agree they do need to evolve it.. I do like that thought of all the achievements matter not just the "platinum" so if they do change the achievements. I would suggest to add on to the current system. It would feel kind of a slight to completly change and make everyone start from scratch.i have over 100,000 gamerscore so in a way i would be kinda bummed about that.

The Witcher 4 project CD project Red can not afford to miss. I think the switch to Unreal is more focused on the fact that most of Witcher 3 team has left. In order to build a team they can farm talent from devs who are much more familiar with the unreal engine.
