For this week's all-new episode of Constellation, The Brothers Moriarty are pleased to draft The Washington Post's Gene Park into their ranks, as well as Sacred Symbols' very own Chris Ray Gun. Gene wants to delve into so-called 'real-life side quests,' the things we keep ourselves busy with on the side for one reason or another. Chris reflects on generational jumps in gaming, particularly the leap from PS2 to PS3 and Xbox to Xbox 360, which he identifies as the greatest shift we've yet experienced. Dagan tells us about his Valentine's Day experiences and expectations, and whether the holiday has long-since overstayed its welcome. And finally, Colin hates shopping for clothes, and he wants everyone to know about it.

More Gene?! A dream of a future where he's full-time 💗

Speaking of Xbox and South Park. There was a tower defense game on the Xbox Arcade called South Park Let’s Go Tower Defense and my friends and I played that game for hundreds of hours. It was the first game that I got 100% achievements. I wish they would make a new one for modern consoles. 😭

Castle crashes was an absolute favorite of mine on the xbla. Would pay good money for a sequel.

LMAO “we’ve done a side activity, and gained some XP.” - Chris 😂 Good form sir

My main take away from this episode is that Gene lives a much more interesting life than I do. Great to hear him on here and love all his stories.

A few years back my wife made me go into a dressing booth because I wore size 38 jeans and she said I looked like an idiot. Come to find out my size is 34 lol. Now I wear size 34 American Eagle jeans because they’re cheap and I often buy 3 of the same pair. I substitute cheap jeans for nice sneakers and have about 40 sneakers now. I wear gaming and band tees exclusively. 40 dollar jeans, 200 dollar sneakers and a Circa Survive or Bloodborne shirt 🙌.

Chris is entirely wrong about famous directors not going to film school. Martin Scorsese, Bong Joon-Ho, Park Chan-Wook, Francis Ford Coppola, Michael Haneke, Terrence Malick, Roman Polanski, and David Lynch are some of the most influential directors ever and they're all products of film school.

My favorite suit was found at a Goodwill for $15. It is mildly terrifying how perfectly it fits me. And inside on the suit pocket is inscribed " personally tailored for Mr. B". Now I can't shake the feeling like that this Mr. B was/is my doppelganger. I'm not quite sure why I shared this. Most likely because I'm bored out of my skull at work.

First: that thumbnail is fire Second: all i heard from gene in the side quest segment is that he's a player! 🤣 Third: Dagen knows how to tell stories maybe that's his animation coming out.

Hidari Shotaro

Gonna have to heavily retort Chris on the film school point. The majority of filmmakers/directors have gone to school for it, such as Phil Lord & Chris Miller. Not saying it's impossible to be a director without it, but implying that it's useless is completely wrong.

Ryan Taylor

Could Gene be the world’s most interesting man?

Michael Buffill

Need a video of the snark tank eating at IHOP in suits.

Max Stahl

The blind Chris episodes are gonna be a hoot!

I had know idea those outside of LSM would be able to come on Constellation. I for one would like to see Melanie Mac make an appearance sometime.

Reuben Barrett

Can we get a full length release of the intro song by Ramone, it's so dope.

Johnny Lamotte

Haha another great episode. Gene is awesome.

PairOfShuse

Colin - Revtown jeans are by far the most comfortable jeans ever. You will not be disappointed

Anthony Palerino

I’d love to see y’all leverage LSM in some sort of charitable effort. Not sure how it’d work or what for but this community could do a lot I think

Jamie Rea

Would love to have Gene involved in more !

GenesisPoint

I love Gene but conversation Gene is chefs kiss.

Amazon offers that clothes trying service. You can have them send you several sizes (if they are in stock), and send back what doesn't fit best. I recall the whole service is under Amazon Fashion. Helped me get some new pants with extra pockets.

Lovin the podcast and Gene was a great addition this week; however, gotta call out the amount of “likes” heard as a pure audio listener. I commend Ben’s resilience in the editing especially during the clothing topic.

The biggest Valentine's Day "tradition" for me has always been just absolutely raiding the clearance candy section the day after. Lol

Maybe I've been lucky in my dating life, but I've never been with a woman who's taken Valentine's Day super serious. Usually dinner and maybe a movie is all I've ever done. Hell, a few years ago me and my wife genuinely forgot about it until her brother asked us if we had plans for it lol.

Gene Park

i know. i’ll have to get some vocal training to exercise that out of my talking.

Vonoran

All love Gene, you truly are a wonderful addition and hope you continue teaming up with Last Stand.

It’s sad seeing what Xbox & most of their fanbase have become. They’ve done a lot of important, game changing things and it’s ancient history now. Trophies & achievements have changed my life.

Matthew Major

Gene is amazing thank you for bringing everyone in to help LSM.

Raymond keys

Chris is sooo hilarious man!!

NeO JD

Col, you mention wanting to be overdressed if anything, but recently you said you’ll go out looking like a hobo and not give a f what you look like. lol I get the expectation difference but still had to point this out. 😄

Kieran Pickles

I liked Gene before, but now I love him! What a class guy. Looking forward to hearing more from him. Great shows, team.

Kevin Cooper

I once sent out generic Xmas cards that said "Santa is Coming..." on the outside, and on the blank inside I wrote: "All over your face, bitch!". The results were mixed. #NoRagrets

You guys are the least romantic group of pricks ever assembled to discuss Valentine’s Day. Guarantee Dustin has done romantic things for Holly nearly every year. It’s an east coast/west coast jadedness that can’t be matched in the middle 7/8 of the country. You’re three steps from celibacy.
