Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is already one of the most anticipated titles of the year. Following up the excellent Part 1 Remake, Rebirth promises to be a total evolution of the formula. Just this past week, Square Enix and Sony gave us a deep dive presentation along with a demo shadow drop. So what are our thoughts? Since the Sacred boys are on media blackout, Summon Sign host Brad Ellis takes the reins of this episode alongside Lord Cognito and Lord Addict to dive deep into the presentation and demo.

I haven’t watched the Rebirth state of play and I’ve heard it’s got some pretty big spoilers, so I’m staying away from it. Will this episode touch on those state of play spoilers? I’ve played everything else though

I never played any Final Fantasy games andI'm not a fan of JRPG/turn based games. I am a big fan of RPGs like Cyberpunk and Skyrim. I'm thinking of checking out Remake. What type of game is it comparable to? I genuinely am unsure what type of game it is. Thanks

Thank you for drawing a hard line with spoilers and talking about the games. As someone who wants to hear conversations about the games, its often frustrating, as tip-toeing around spoilers often ruins the conversation IMO. After all, you can't talk about the game if you can't talk about the game. I think this is especially true for a format like Summoning Sign. Keep up the great work and sorry for the long winded comment.

Yeah gets in to what addict was saying at the end. Not sure where they will go from here, since you already beat him. Cloud apparently already at his advent children level of power since he was cutting through buildings and stuff at the end of Remake.
