Hello. I've done it again. Who asked for this website?

Me.

I'm working on a video about streaming services and made TooMuchMedia.Online, a website that (hopefully) makes it easier for us to watch things that we actually care about.

How it works:

Add movies or TV show titles that you want to watch.

We check which services stream them in your region.

You see a ranked list of services with the most content you want to see

You can filter by title, rating, or watch time. Hopefully it's another tool in your toolkit to help you make choices based on your actual interests and not just what a corporate algorithm recommends. It could also help you manage your streaming subscriptions to what you will actually use.

The site is in beta for now (and likely forever) but I'd appreciate feedback on how I could make this more useful before I make a bigger video about it. Here's a feedback form: https://forms.gle/hPXcCLrVXH4bgpkEA

I wonder if you looked into services like trakt tv and simkl when making the website. They are good for discovering shows and films by tracking what you have watched to get more recommendations. You can also follow people who have the same tastes. Maybe not very good for help managing your subscriptions.

I'm getting a "site can't provide a secure connection" error, FYI.

Very cool, if anything the most annoying part is the sorting of countries on the drop-down. Everything else is great.

Really cool website! Apparently I should get Hulu. I only have Apple TV right now, and I’ll probably finish my shows (Ted Lasso, Severance, For All Mankind) and then make the jump.
