you can write comment under it with your thoughts about it

I have to say only thing that I don't like about AI art video is that you named AI artist an artist and they aren't artist if they are then I am an artist by comisioning art from an real artist (that is my only problem but I know that it wasn't what you meant)

Igor Matkowski

you know I like box of shame idea put AI video there

William Power

as much as I'd love all your videos to stay on forever, the box of shame playlist is an epic idea

Simon Law

You definitely should not delete old videos. As for unlisting, I am still devastated / Berenstain-Beared when I can’t find videos that I know should exist. Haven’t you had that experience where you’ve dropped a sick reference to a CommunityChannel video and you can’t find it anymore when they don’t get the reference?

Milian Ingco

is this the time when we'll finally get the patreon tiers with view, comment, and edit access to the google drive⁉️

Serafin

No matter what videos you end up taking down, PLEASE keep them accessible in some shape or form!

Brian Saines

Please keep the videos. How else can we know that river taste just like water?

Box of shame is an awesome idea. Like an art show with unworthy works. The works are still watchable by anyone with the knowledge of their secret availability

what melissa said about musicians and their old work, i think does apply to how i see the works of video creators on youtube, actually. the date of when the video was published matters to me! idk. and maybe im biased bc i've been a pretty long-time subscriber, but old aip videos are still enjoyable to me because yall were figuring it out, too! i enjoy yalls videos particularly bc i get to go on a journey with you, and even if i dont agree with some things presented or we dont get a concrete "answer", it makes me think! and i like that. and honestly if some viewers are assigning misplaced moral value and misinterpreting things without checking the date of the video.... idk, it's on them a little bit lol. unless a video is going viral or something, yknow? which the videos mentioned didnt quite get to that status anyway i think? anyway, my vote is to keep the videos on a channel as a part of yalls editorial journeys and like yall say, time capsules. if you rly want to clarify things maybe add to the description or pinned comment?

To the question "should we unlist or delete videos that no longer meet our standards", I would say: you decide. It's your channel. You have to live with what's on there. Personally, I would not remove videos based on technical standards (e.g. bad focus/lighting), but I would remove videos with significant factual errors in them. Now, if the question were "what is the video I least enjoyed on the channel", I won't say which one it is, but I can say it is none of those you mentioned. So, I would keep all of them :)

My thought also immediately went to Community Channel. I am STILL sad that she took down the "We Just Touched Awkwardly" song for this exact reason. How am I supposed to make deep cut references to old videos??

Anaxyrus

On the one hand, you should be able to have complete control over your digital footprint and take down any videos you would like to, for whatever reason you want to. On the other, I think people would definitely notice and miss them (myself included)! Part of what I love about AIP is going on the journey with you, within each video but also across your videography. Sometimes I just want to watch a whole bunch of your videos. So basically, only take them down if they go into a box of shame where we can still watch them :)

Simon Law

If only we could let this go.

Kim Ho

I won't delete any of the videos, as it shows your growth as YouTuber. But, if you really want to "delete" something, why not just create a playlist and explain the purpose of this particular playlist?

Ria Upreti

i think that taha’s couch video is goated and i also think that you guys are way too hard on your old work!!! a lot of the early videos are still a lot of fun and i learn something new! i get why the AI art video is a little different and it makes me wish for your sakes that youtube still had annotations!!!! if you do the box of shame you should include unreleased videos

Yanaira

As someone who went back to watch nearly if not all of your old videos when I first discovered your channel, I think it would be nice to keep them all up, although of course the final decision lies with you three. But I really enjoyed going back and discovering more of the videos you made, and seeing how far you've come and how your videos have evolved over time. I really enjoyed the couch and water videos too :D

You guys have a YouTube channel? I don't know how things work can't you update the video? It is "answer in progress" that was your answer at the time, you can have a new one that's kinda progress.
