Next episode, we are doing a Q&A to celebrate 500 patreon supports! Leave your questions down below!

In this episode, we talk about school, mechanical pencils, and what we would make if Netflix gave us money. If that sounds like it's missing a thematic throughline, you're right.

In the USA primary school is not a school but is replaced by elementary school (which goes from k-5 or k-6 in some states).

How are you doing? Follow up question; how do you balance maintaining your friendships with your hectic work schedule? How do you keep your relationships with each other friendly, but also focused on building AIP together?

It might be a little too soon, but what feedback have you had about the journals. It would be good to hear you guys discuss what went well, what you’d change, any surprise reactions other than selling all of them in record time.

How do you find the experts you interview for videos? Are people generally pretty interested in offering their expertise?

Juan

Do you ever feel like coming back to any topics you made videos about in the past? Like maybe the situation changed or you have new information or whatever Also, do you guys have like a queue of stuff you want to make? Like, you have ideas for the next videos planned way ahead or do you just do what vibes in the moment? ALSO, I read Little Women because of Taha and OH MY GOD, please recommend something else. Hope y'all doing well :)

Do you think that the current business models for online content creators / entrepreneurs are sustainable? Given the history of how large platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Amazons Kindle, (and Patreon) tend to “change the rules of game” after they become bloated with users and content creators. These game changes usually lead to creators loosing a large percentage of their platform based income. Is it possible for creators to predict and survive these kinds of changes?

Have you ever faced a situation where conflicting evidence or findings present themselves after an episode has been published and you feel like a correction or retraction video needed to be made? I ask not because I have a correction/counterevidence, but because the edutainment show “Adam Ruins Everything” on TruTV dedicated one of their episodes in the later seasons to clarifying/correcting feedback from their earlier episodes.

How does the view count a video gets effect what ideas you decide to move forward with in the future? Specifically like if a video doesn’t get a lot of views but you’re really proud of how it turned out does that change your calculation on what videos you produce going forward?

Kay, Taha is on a mechanical journey; with the keyboard and now with the writing instruments. Definitely recommend looking into 2mm mechanical pencils, where it's more a lead holder than a fine point. It has all the benefits of a wooden pencil without the drawbacks. AND fountain pens. Boy howdy fountain pens are a rabbit hole that I think all of you would love to fall into.
