Content

With Taha still out of commission, Melissa and Sabrina are left free to ramble about their favourite rom coms (and also answer your questions!)

We have also released an audio version of this aftershow on the podcast feed. If y'all are okay with it, we may phase out the video aftershows and keep it on this feed. Let us know if you have strong opinions either way!

As I general comment, I love having the podcasts in my RSS feed, but prefer the video format. Its really fun to watch the video back and forth. The physical reactions. Theres just something more? about it that I really enjoy. Also, Patreon's built-in audio player has like no controls. Atleast on YT I can use the speed adjustments.

Second this.

Yeah, sorry, no - I hate listening to audio-only podcasts, I wanna see who's talking... :)

Try Monster of the Week! It’s a simpler system than D&D (though really you need to just accept whatever system the person willing to GM is going to use because GMing is the most work!)

(And I bet you $10 there is a RomCom RPG out there.)

You absolutely can enjoy content you make! I do. 😂

I assume you guys have a reason for wanting to make this audio-only as you’ve brought it up before? Personally I have no issue with that so long as the format doesn’t change. It’s nice to see your faces and reactions, but it’s nicer to have this kind of creator/audience interaction in the first place, so if Joe doesn’t have the time for even more video editing (or whatever the reason may be) then it’s no skin off my nose. 🙂

I do. not. understand. the thumbnail 'issue' or why/how it even exists. I'm subscribed -> I see video -> I click video and watch. The thumbnail, for me, is superfluous to that process - it does not and will not factor in. I notice/appreciate it, but it has zero impact on the decision. It's confusing and disappointing (and other *grumblegrumblefuckingalgorithms* feelings) that something that doesn't even factor into the decision for me can make or break videos.

Personally, I enjoy being able to add the videos to my watch later in youtube and catching up in the next few days

Juan

I prefer the video version because on every podcast I always hear something that I wish I could see à la Melissa's collage or someone's face when they hear or say something.

I'm a bit behind, but I just want to say that I really appreciated getting this in my podcast feed! While I also enjoy the regular podcast, the aftershow commentary is what I'm truly interested in hearing. If I have to come to Patreon to seek it out, I likely won't because I don't regularly visit Patreon. If I get it in my podcast feed, though, I can just listen to it like I would any other podcast, which I do daily.
